I had a pretty weird dream. I was in this big house.. I think my grandparent's house in which I grew up in... but it looked a bit different and didn't feel like much of a house. Everyone there was from work. Anyway. I went up the stairs to the top floor (only 2 floors), around a corner to the end of the hall. It looked like there was a bathroom with the light off and door open, and infront of that was a big black bedroom that no one slept in. I went in and crawled around under the bed and somehow I think it turned into another world or something? I really don't know. lol Anyway.. My grandfather came from the hallway into the room while I was in there and asked me to come out. I did. When he left and I decided to go back, i stumbled onto a big something. If felt like a cardboard box so I grabbed it and dragged it into the light. It was a cardboard box with a cat inside! The cat was freaking out. I would go from side to side in the box, stand up on her hind legs, and look over the side. As she did that I noticed two kittens inside the box that looked just like her - white with grey spots. Because I LOVE cats and I don't have one of my own anymore, in my dream I actually considered taking one home with me. Because the mother looked so frantic to find her other kittens, I didn't. Instead I crouched down and looked under the bed to see one more kitten scurrying around. I am pretty sure I chased it out from under the bed and it ended up in the box.

Afterwards I went back down stairs. I ran into two co-workers who had to make a trip out to the city for work. It was cold, wet and dark outside and I didn't have a jacket so I went to a female coworker and asked her if I could borrow her jacket. She said sure, went into her office and came back out with this poofy but soft green coat with a fur-lined hood (fur was tan/brown). By the time I actually got it the other two had left. One described the city as cardbard. Everyone in it was just like a cardboard cut out and it was boring, cold and quiet. It wasn't dark there. The other said he went into a couple stores, got bored, and came back.

And then someone woke me up because I didn't wake up to my alarm clock.

      Hi rune kinsei
Wow What an extremely vivid dream you had. I couldn't even begin to understand the meaning. So you are a lover of cats? that's cool maybe you want one real bad inside so you dreamt some that you could possibly take with you. What I was interested in mostly was that , you mentioned that when you went under the bed it somehow transformed into another world. Where you referring to that the dream content has changed or did the entire enviorment transform and you seem to be in another world literally? And if so do you remember how things looked? But it seems you managed to get back into the initial dream and continue on. The ending was very different, cardboard building and people? I guess in a normal dream setting that shouldn't freak you out. It's amazing how our subconscious mind will allow us to accept anything illogical. Your dream pattern is very interesting. Do most of your dreams jump from scene to scene in an instance? I dream like that normally. Usually I can't keep the setting no longer than a few moments before it changes to something else. I've been told that this usually happens due to being preoccuppied with so much stuff that your mind tends to get cluttered and you're thinking of a million and one things. I bet you are thinker? andyou're always occuppied with life. But you're definately Vivid which in itself is excellent have you ever had a Lucid Dream?

      Keep this in your mind.
To see a cat in your dream, for the cat lover, cats signifies an independent spirit, feminine sexuality, creativity, and power. I know you mentioned that the Cat was a bit aggressive that may suggests that you are having problems with relationships. You haven't had any worries about that special someone have you?
Also to see your grandparents in your dream, symbolizes love, security, love, wisdom and protection. To dream that you are watching the rain from a window, indicates that spiritual ideas and insights are being brought to your awareness. It may also symbolize fortune and love.

Well I hope that kinda unravel some things for you thanks for sharing your dream it was very interesting. See ya around

I don't pretend to be a great interpreter of dreams, but like Ne-yo said, I think since you love cats and long to have one, it translated into your dream of wanting to take one home.

...and I couldn't not reply to a kitty thread
