Thread: My Best, Yet Most Confusing Dream

It's been a while sense I've had this dream, but it was so peaceful and amazing I wrote it down so that I could remember it.

My friends, two of whom I am not longer friends with(and wasn't friends with at the time I had the dream) were playing a game. Beth(from MTV) was there doing absolutely nothing, and I was kinda pacing because I was worried. I was going to die. Don't know how I knew, but I knew it, and no one else did.

So then, my two friends put the game down and went to a back room to have some alone time, and Beth started playing. I went outside and, oh my God, it was so beautiful. So freakin gorgeous. Like, the sun was out but it wasn't bright, it was kind of dim. And there were leaves everywhere. And there were a couple of people out that kinda seemed like they were in their own little world. They didn't see me, or anyone else, just themselves and the people on their property. I walked up the steps like the ones outside my house, except they were more step-like instead of the random-sized steps I have, and turned around to look back at the house. It was big, and kind of had a glow about it. That kind of shine that the sun has when it hits the snow. And I was like "Oh my God where am I? This is so beautiful" and I was like so at peace with everything. Even my death.

Then, I walked back down onto the porch and turned around to look back up, and one of the two people's mom was sitting there in her van. I shouted that his mom was there, and he left, and the other friend walked outside after he left without saying a word and disappeared. I walked in and was trying to talk to Beth because no one had talked to her the entire time we were there, and she was being cool. She was still Playing this game where she was controlling this blue guy that greatly resembled Iceman from X-Men. She was in a junk yard-type place, and there was a giant monster in a lake shooting things and throwing cars at her. And she had to run through these very narrow passages and random laser blasts would be fired through a blue beam, and if they hit you they knocked you off and you had to start over. It was really hard because they exploded if they hit you or got near you, so if you jumped, the explosion wold knowck you off, and I really don't know how you're jsupposed to get through it. So then I'm like "Just use your ice slide" so she made the character jump and create the ice slide and slid over everything. Then when she got to the end she walked outside and disappeared.

That was when I picked up the controller and started playing. I had to go find the X-Men who were being held somewhere in the junk yard. Well, the stupid giant dude kept throwing things at me, and trying to blast me, but I was like "No, gotta find the X-Men so they can save everyone" and I found them locked in a cage behind a giant wall of crushed cars. I freed them and they ran out, attacking the giant dude. I specifically remember seeing Gambit and Nightcrawler. I put the controller down and walked out back onto this big padio thing, and propped myself up on the railing and just looked out at the trees and a very light, sparse coating of snow. Like random patches of it over the leaves. And then two people who look nothing like my parents, yet I knew they were supposed to be them, came outside and stood on either side of me. They said something, but I can't remember what it was. Then I woke up.

It's so weird. I never actually saw any of the people disappear, they just walked outside and never came back.

I don't want to turn this into a religious debate, but this was around the time I started freaking out over the possibility that I could have cancer, and had asked God to send me a sign that night as I prayed.
