Thread: Fields Of Cotton

In my dream I'm walking down a dirt road by this house. It's very rural feeling. This is supposed to be a place that I pass by everyonce in awhile, and I have since I was really young. It sort of feels like a place from my old neighborhood, though it doesn't actually exist in real life. I'm looking at the house (though I don't remember any details about it), and in the back yard there are many play structures, quite a few different ones, for kids. Those have always been there. The house is sort of at the top of a hill, and I continue walking on the road, which goes down the hill. Just beyond the play structures, there is a field. The last time I was by here, which wasn't all that long ago, the field had been completely empty. Now, it was full of cotton trees (I don't know if cotton grows on trees in real life, but it did in my dream). I was thinking about how the people who lived there had decided to grow cotton on their land. It was really impressive how there had been nothing there before, and now the field was absolutely full with these cotton trees. They were sort of reddish colored, and there was all this fluffy cotton on them, and there was some on the ground. I turn around and start walking the other way, back the way I came from.
