I have about 5-6 dreams a night and they all involve me being attacked.

Last night, for example, i had a dream i was with this girl, walking on a familiar concrete path. We're just talking (can't remember what about) and then we reach a bridge and keep walking. We get to the other end of the bridge but i turn around to face the other way cause i hear someone running. I turn and see a group of maybe 4 guys with hoodies and bandanas covering their faces. They all have steel bats in their hands, but i can't seem to move at all when i see them. They reach me and the girl runs away and just as they start beating the crap outta me, i wake up.

I have dream after dream about being attacked (not always in the same situation) and i can never move when it's happening.

Do these dreams mean anything? Being attacked, is it supposed to tell me somethin?

I'm not an expert, Ok? But, I have found that my dreams speak to me in action and example quite often about what is going on in the waking world. For instance, concerns that repeat themselves in waking life have a tendancy to repeat themselves in sleep in odd ways. Like what is happening to me right now: I am having dreams about remembering my dreams. It's on my mind.

You may be concerned about being physically attacked in waking life . . . or maybe you aren't. Maybe you are concerned about defending yourself? Being verbally attacked? Always having to stay on your toes?

Or, just what are you doing before bed? Are you playing first-person shooter games? Watching violent movies? Not surprisingly, what happens just before bedtime is freshest on our dreaming mind later that evening.
This lucid dream has encountered a fatal error! Reboot? [Y/N]

I have a lot of dreams in which I'm getting chased by something, or being attacked by something, but I've never had the problem of being beaten up. In my dreams, I always fight back. If its a chase dream, I run for a bit, assess the situation, and if I have to, I confront whatever's chasing me. Attack dreams aren't as frequent, but every time, I'm always fighting back. In fact, I can get brutal when I retaliate in my dreams. Though I've had one dream in which I and this girl was attacked (she was the main target), and I had to fight these 3 guys armed with knives in order to keep the girl safe (oh, and the girl was a catgirl...).

I think this is more to do with a of being 'attacked' in real life, whether physical or verbal. Even a threat to your lifestyle or ideas. There's a lot of ways one can interpret this dream, so it kinda helps if you add more information you think might be relevant? Such as your RL situation and such...

Um, my RL situation...theres only one thing on my mind in RL that is bothering me right now, and it's all to do with a girl. I made a topic about it in "The Lounge" but i'll tell you what happened here. Basically, i like this girl who ended up going out with this other guy. The other day, her boyfriend and a group of his friends saw me and he told me to stay away from his girl. It ended up leading to a bit of a fight, i punched him and ran away. I guess...that could be the cause of the dream, but i'm having so many of them it's just ridiculous.

I'm guessing that the dream is only blowing out of proportion a small fear you have ever since that situation you were in. Maybe you still feel threatened by the guys, or its to do with you feeling unable to stand up for yourself or at least protect yourself. Could be a lot of things. However, since these dreams are recurring dreams, more often than not, a lot of the meaning of the dreams can be pulled from the differences in each recurring dream. Are the attackers different every time they attack you? Does the girl say something different or do something different? Are the colours of their clothes different in each dream? The differences may be subtle or obvious, but finding them helps understand the dream a lot more.

The other day me and my friend were beating each other up with foam baseball bats at Wal-Mart(...........ha) and that night in my dream I kept getting beat up by some guy, maybe yours has a logical explanation like that.
