      Interpret, Please!

      Okay, I'm new, and this is one of the most lucid dreams I've ever had--

      I'm a female in high school. I'm a tomboy, have a quick temper, and have moved many times in my life. If there's any other personal info you need to interpret, please tell me.

      My dream goes as follows:

      I'm walking with my best guy friend, I'll call him W, and my crush. I'll call him N. W and I used to like each other, and he was my first kiss, but we mutually broke off the attraction and now we're best friends. I've liked N for about a month, but I really don't know him at all. I only have one class with him, and so I think it's only a shallow crush, not a really deep infatuation, and I don't know if he feels anything like that for me. We're nice to each other, but we've probably only exchanged about 50 words with each other.

      The three of us are walking down a series of streets I loved to walk on when I lived in Nebraska, six years ago. And while we're walking, we're throwing a baseball or softball back and forth. In P.E. right now, we're playing softball, if that has anything to do with it.

      Nothing romantic happened in this dream, not really-- and yet I still felt that little constricting tightness in my chest that you always have when the person you like talks to you. In this dream, N and I were really talking, but W wasn't saying a thing. What does that mean?

      I guess the P.E. softball is relevant, it may be a question of what goes on there and how you enjoy the game and what you tend to think about there. Or it may just be about sport like talk and just having innocent fun.
      Maybe you're thinking a lot about your crush and not about your friend, that your thoughts keep going to N. I guess your building your relationship with N and stagnating with W.

      My 0.02

      Streets and roads can represent your path in life and its current conditions. Tossing a softball back and forth can be like playing a kind of game back and forth with them. Is there anything playful taking place? Also, is there anything else the roads in Nebraska mean to you that might be relevant? Perhaps they are related to the comfort you feel with these two, W and N?

      Is there any part of you that feels guilty for liking N? I'm not sure how long it's been. Or, is any part of you hesitant to move on to a new guy since the last guy was your first kiss?

      Is your dream depicting W "still being in the picture" somehow? Still in the game or part of the game?

      regardless of what the dream means, you shouldn't hide the fact that you like this boy. Just put it out there and see what he says. Who knows, he could like you just as much

      no regrets, ok?

      maybe though, the fact that your friend is silent while you are talking to this other boy could mean that he still has feelings for you. idk...i would experiment with the two of them to gain more understanding
