      Can anybody shed some light on my dream?

      I had the most strange dream last night and just wanted to know if anyone could shed some light on it. Ok here goes.......

      As far as i can remember it started with me being a passenger in a car,it was driving down some sort of motorway. I didnt see the driver but i remember we were going very fast way over 100mph overtaking all the other cars, i asked the driver to slow down and they did although i didnt see who the driver was. Then i was on a beach and there were millions of slugs evrywhere,the tide went right out and all the slugs slithered out towards the sea aswell,i remember the slugs moving very fast away from me slithering away at a fast speed. Then i was back in the car again and we came to a tunnel that went under a huge mountain,i remember going into the tunnel and saying something about it collapsing it was quite scary at this point. Then i somehow was back at the entrance of the tunnel,at big hole had collapsed through inside. I remember standing outside the tunnel and everything was being sucked into the tunnel sort of like a giant vacuum cleaner sucking evrything in.

      Sounds odd i know but thats how it happened.

      Hi

      Here are some ideas (basically some meanings of dream symbols/images).

      Being in a car driven by someone else means that you're driven by whatever the driver represents or that whatever the driver represents is in control. Driving at a fast speed might mean that you feel things are a bit out of control. The beach can represent a boundary between the rational and the emotional sides of the dreamer. Snails can signify a need to slow down, so perhaps slugs have a similar meaning. Low tides can symbolize a draining of energy. A tunnel can represent exploration of the subconscious or being open to new understanding. Collapsing can mean you're pushing yourself too hard.

      Sometimes it's interesting to look at what's implied in addition to what's visible. For instance, a tunnel implies a road, especially when you're driving through the tunnel. A road can represent your path in life and how it's going at the moment.
