      reading in dreams

      i had a dream where i was in a theatre and projected on the screen was the following: WORDS AND SOUNDS ARE MEANINGLESS. that's all i remember in the dream.

      i was reading something about what it "means" when you read in dreams, but don't recall what it was or what book or anything. i have had dreams where i was able to read, but this one seemed to exist for the sole purpose of reading those words.
      thoughts?

      It may have had some relation to your brainstate. I had a quite long lucid dream in which I had approached a lamp burning on my porch...the lamp said the lamp was made of sound and not light...and i think it had something to do with my state of mind. near the end of the dream someone was singing on a stage and the last words of the dream were from the singer "I'm sorry. There's no sound." Because the mic wasnt working. But the dream itself...
      a large part of it was a protest that we were being arrested for- but then we were taken to a mall instead by our crazy female driver...

      I had another lucid dream in which I had read labels and viewed myself in a mirror...all these dreams were really neat. I dont know exactly what it means to read in dreams, but sometimes the words are gibberish i think the more lucid you are the less gibberish the words are.
