So. This dream has some obvious sybolism in it, but there are a few things I really don't understand.
First, a little background information. I'm going into 12th grade, and my major is something very unconventional. I have a fear of college, like I'm not good enough, even though people tell me that I am. I'm rather intelligent, but don't always believe in myself. The main person with me in my dream is "Liz", who, is a year younger than me, and knows everything about me. We're best friends. Also, I am a bit of an elitist when it comes to certain things.


The dream starts out that Liz is going to a new school for the arts (She's an artist), but she's going into Kindergarten (She's actually going into 11th grade). She looks the same, but she's going into kindergarten anyway. The school is shaped like a Rubix Cube, and within each big block on a regular rubix cube, there are different blocks of the same color, which are different cubic class rooms. I followed Liz to her kindergarten room, and I overheard some people saying that the food is crappy, and room looked live a dive. It actually, even, almost looked like a shower, because it was all tiled and humid. While in the classroom, some punk 3rd graders came up to us, and started being elitists because they just learned how to play the flute and the saxophone (The two instruments that I play best), and they could play a couple notes. I told them off, and ended up leaving Liz there to fend for herself. Before leaving, I went to the main office, where you can find out what cube is your grade and classroom. Out of curiosity, I said "Twelth grade", and the computer told me it was the white block on TOP, and not only was it the top white block, but it was the top classroom of the top white block. I remember saying to myself "Oh, I don't feel like checking it out, it's too many stairs to climb, it's too far up."

I was leaving the school when I woke up.

I have this feeling that the color white had a big part to do with it, but I don't exactly know what. Could someone decipher this dream?

I get a sense of Order in your dream......you like things to be orderly, pigeon-holed, and clearly understandable?

"white on Top"= as you said, you have an elitist view of things.....so,
"white on Top" could possibly translate to something like= Being on top of your ivory tower and seeing things in terms of black and white (wrong or right, and no in-between). "white" suggests you tend to view yourself as being right all the time.....it suggests you have a tendency to be self-righteous? "Top" suggests you have a lofty view of people and tend to look down on them? Or/and "Top" suggests you are able to see the bigger picture of things, having a 'helicopter' vision or a 'bird's eye view'.

Rubix cube (bearing in mind the "white on Top") suggests that you are able to see things from a wider perspective, and able to solve problems which others fail to do so as they do not have the bird's eye view you have.

"Liz" could represent your alter ego.....she is going to a kindergarden= that could suggest that you need to be like a child again, free of the preconceptions you have now. With your preconceptions, you do not see things as they really are --- you do not see reality; instead what you see are the filters of your own prejudices (bias).

Even the fact that "Liz" is an artist suggests that you are creative deep inside.....creativity is born from chaos, not order. Your dream could be telling you to unleash the child in your, unleash your creativity!
