Thread: strange dream

Maybe you're picking up some signals from her that she wants to get back together with her friend - and she'd like you to help. There's a 'nurturing' theme in this dream. She may feel that you can help 'give birth' once again to their relationship. I'm not sure, might need some more info about the real life situation.

Was there any situation involving the same sort of deatiled help... helping someone through something quite complicated and personal? Often dreams are triggered the day before the dream

there are some very powerful dream symbols here...

the bathroom is generally interpreted as the place of cleansing and purification.
birth is highly associated with bringing forward a new self and the emergence of awareness.
also the colours black and white are present. the white baby is a pure symbol, a good omen. since ur friend actually is black theres no interpretation needed for her.

First up, thanks everybody for the help. Great suggestions all round. Joe - I doubt this is the case, cos in the real life scenario she's loving being single and he's got a new girlfriend. And they're never really together.

I'm going to pay close attention for the next while...see if there are any hints that she needs help with something to that effect.

Contrasts tend to be there for a reason. Black and white suggest all sorts of things. To me they suggest the unknown and the known. But they may suggest something else to you. Running with my thoughts, I'd look at the concept that the unknown is giving birth to the known. And the unknown knows how to do it and is also your friend. I see this as a positive dream, suggesting that some things in life are perhaps coming clearer to you although - because you had to dream it - you haven't noticed.

But the usual warnings about interpretations apply.
