Craziest dream, what does it mean? Please help?

Hello everyone! First I'd like to thank everyone here who contributes to helping other people understand their dream. Without you guys, me and many others would be sitting in a state of confusion trying to figure out these dreams.

Last night I had a very unusual dream, and it was quite frightening for me during the dream, and even now, looking back at it. I can't help but think that this dream might symbolize something.

From what I remember, something terrible happened to me where my face and head was covered in blood. I was taken to the hospital where I was going to undergo head/brain surgery. It was very scary for me. While I was at the hospital, I was waiting in the waiting room and thats where I saw alot of my friends from highschool. It was weird though, because I wasn't able to interact with any of them? It was like they were just there to see me, almost as if they were at a funeral for me. I remember seeing someone who was very special to me there. It was this girl that I was very close to, but it was unusual seeing her because we no longer talk or see each other. Infact, were kind of in a fight at the moment that has been going on for months. As my dream went on, I remember one of the nurses calling me over saying that it was time for my surgery and she had laid me on a stretcher bed type thing and pushed me into the surgery room. Thats where the doctor had told me I needed brain surgery and he placed the anesthetic mask over my nose and mouth to put me asleep for the operation.

From then on, I do not remember anything else.

The dream felt so real it was unbelievable! I could even remember the smell and taste of the anesthetic mask. This dream wasn't like any other dream I ever had.

What could this dream represent? Something bad? Could it mean that I might have something like this happen to me in my future? And why was that girl in my dream? I was certain that I had got over her months ago.

      Thank you for reading!

to dream of an injury to the brain can sometimes be an indication that there is something wrong mentally. do u feel u have anything to worry about when it comes to ur mental health? or do u suffer from headaches?
on the other hand, the brain symbolises knowledge. blood symbolises our life force. bleeding from the brain can indicate something like 'brain drain' do u feel that maybe what u have learned is going to waste?
seeing highschool friends in our dreams can be a symbol of regression. since this dream is highly psychologically based, regression in this case mean reverting back to our childhood behaviours and feelings.
sitting in the waiting room struck me as the most important part of this dream. this is ur subconscious telling u not to 'wait around' to take action. u may need to act fast before its too late.
doctors and nurses represent healing and help. since we do not know the outcome of the surgery it is impossible to tell how ur story will end.
if u take notice of the message portrayed in ur dream by taking positive forward steps now, then u will find out ur dream ending.

OK first everything and everyone in your dream is part of you. I assume it was your blood on your face? And brain surgery - you mind. The sustaining and the thinking part of you is a mess and your internal surgeon is going to make it better and the internal nurse will care for you. This suggests you have the capacity to both repair and nurture yourself, although it also suggests you project this capacity onto "experts" just now. So what is this sustaining part of you that the blood represents? I'd hesitate to answer that but perhaps you feel that there is something preventing you from living life to the full just now? Identify what that is, correct it (doctor) and look after yourself (nurse)!
