Unhappy I felt Warmth... But I don't get it... Help me?

I want to find out if my dream means something or nothing.

My age is irrevelant, as I view age as an unnecessary discrimination in some ways. (Just because I'm young doesn't mean anything, besides my knowing less than adults.) Here's some information I think might help, then I'll type out my dream:

I don't have a cellphone. Olivia does. -points to other info- She has my home number recorded in her phone.

My friend (Olivia) had gotten a boyfriend not too long ago, maybe about 3 months? I've felt a little envious.

I've seen older guys that are attractive.

My friends appear in the dream:
Two of them named Olivia and Camille. They are both dear to me and without them I wouldn't be able to survive the horrors of being alone in a school with cliques. (EX: I am odd. I wore a hot pink tiara, purple tights, pinkish red shirt under a Night.Befor.Xmas sweater. Imagine what I looked like when people around me wear Abercrombie, American Eagel, Gucchi, Juicy, and all that expensive crap.)

We are at a fair in my dream. My friends and I are planning to go to the State Fair next wed.

      ------------
i really want to know if my dream is important or not... Wether I will ever meet someone in this sort of situation....
      -----

I dreamt a happy dream... But I cried when I woke up, I missed the warmth.

I remember I was walking by myself through a crowded carnival/fair thing, though no one ever bumped into me. As if the world was going past me and I wasn't a part of it. I wasn't feeling anything at this point.

I sat down at a long wooden table with plates on it and a package of gelled fruit appeared in my hand, and I knew what to do... It seemed as if I was at a job at the carnival/fair. I began scooping it on the plate when this older (about 3 or 4 years) blond guy examining my plate quickly and then sitting down next to me and doing the same thing I was doing.

I remember being happy when we started to talk... I read something in front of me, which I'm not sure where it came from, that said something about kissing the person you loved. The man (it just seems right to say he was a man... but he wasn't exactly a 20 year old man) was reading over my shoulder than kissed my shoulder lightly 5 times. I remember this swelling of happiness then turned around to smile at him and he smiled back.

We stood up, this is where the scene completely changes, then everything shifted. At this point I had no memory of the blond guy and I was taking a picture with a whole lot of people, and a friend was holding me up, Olivia I think, because I am short. I almost fell but she caught and lifted me higher. I felt happy and was laughing the whole time. I remember the camera flashing.

The scene came back to blond man, where we were just standing up. I smiled happily at him and he returned it (i don't really remember ANYTHING that I talked to him about), and I was REALLY happy, when I looked back down at the plates. They were gourmet style foods, but mine was less -gourmet- like than the others, which didn't seem to be a big surprise.

I remember feeling a little sheepish and saying to him that I wasn't a very good cook. But he smiled and said something about that it was fine... I remember smiling bigger and feeling that swelling and tackled him into a hug. Then I felt this... this warmth... I loosened my hug to look up at him, sharing the same happy expression. I hugged him tightly again and the warmth spread through mu body. I was so very happy... But I don't remember if we kissed or not... Maybe we did... But maybe we didn't.

My friends came along smiling to, appearing from the carnival background saying its time to go. I wasn't upset about leaving the blond, but I remember letting go of him to walk over to my friends when he asked for my phone number. Olivia gave me her phone and I said sure. He dissapeared and I was on the phone with him.

I said something about calling him back because I don't know my home number, which I was going to give him, and he said it was fine. I hung up feeling very happy and started walking with my friends with the phone in my hands. I looked at them and said, "Guys, I think I found myself a boyfriend." and they both were happy for me and saying, "Really? Omygawd! Really?" Then I woke up... Crying because I missed the warmth and the feeling the guy gave me of being loved. Throughout that whole last scene, we were walking through the carnival/fair....

      ----

Think you can help me decide what this means? Please?
      - A star just for you... Just wish on me, because I love you.

Symphonii, yes of course your dream means something. The warm feeling you described is one people frequently report and it is very powerful and nice while it lasts but is yearned for after waking up. Some say it's the feeling of "being in love". Now, what is important here is that the person in your dream isn't (necessarily) the person with whom you should fall in love. "He" is in fact the lost part of you that you look for in others to feel whole again - that's why you feel you've lost something special when you wake up. It is through looking at dreams etc that you get a better idea of this lost part of you and begin to accept and love yourself more, leaving you less demanding in real relationships, which would rarely be fulfilling anyhow.

There are some significant signs in your dream. The number 5 is presumably important. Any idea why? And your working serving food (why gelled fruit?) suggests that nurture is important/natural to you. You were lifted higher by your friend - this may mean that you feel well grounded and trusting in your supportive self (expressed as your friend in the dream) again suggesting nurture and service is natural to you. Your own food was not as gourmet as the others. Does this mean that you feel others get more from life that you? Or perhaps that you should look after yourself more? You choose .

I love the bit at the end about the phone number. Your dream sounds like you've made contact with an important part of your unconscious and perhaps in another dream you can call that number?

What I've suggested is my take on your dream based on my understandings. But all meanings are personal to you and you'll need to work out which (if any) of my suggestions resonate with you.

Finally, age can sometimes be important. When someone says for example they "felt like they were 18" it makes a big difference whether their age is 13, 19 or 87!

      Excellent stuff, by the way!

Thank you... I feel better about my dream and what it might mean... Thank you!

      Edit:
Oh... By the way, I felt the same age I am at the moment. I didn't feel different. I felt like I was myself and how I am now, and I am still quite young.

My pleasure. Do post back here if anything still concerns you or if you have more moving dreams like this.

The first poster was very good with the answer But I also want to point out when you were at first describing the people around you, then into your dream.

It sounds like youre jealous of your friends and wish you had the things they had. But it also sounds like you love them and know its not their fault for where you are in life meaning how you know they can support you in your dream.

You sound like your at that stage in life I was in. My bestfriend got a cellphone and had a boyfriend before I did. But I knew I didnt have the money and I knew a guy would come along some time.

Dreams mean a great deal. Ask your subconscious mind what your dreams mean.
Things are not as they seem

any dream in which you have a strong feeling, is going to mean something to you, even though you don't understand it. it has meaning, you just have to find it.

but you should never try too hard to find a meaning or answer. as long as you're looking, you will find it, getting stressed over it and impatient will just slow you down and give you a sense of hopelessness.

before I go on, I'd like to make a comment on something:

(EX: I am odd. I wore a hot pink tiara, purple tights, pinkish red shirt under a Night.Befor.Xmas sweater. Imagine what I looked like when people around me wear Abercrombie, American Eagel, Gucchi, Juicy, and all that expensive crap.)
you are not odd. perish the thought.

the style you described is actually all the rage, don't you know? don't you know how outrageously popular that Tim Burton movie is? I don't even think it would be crazy to say that the style you described is actually more popular than the style of the other brands you mentioned...perhaps. even if it isn't, you must admit it's a very popular style, hardly "odd". (and, by the way, hot topic is pretty expensive too.)

you must live in the middle of nowhere? if that is the case, you do have the internet, and I think you could easily make friends online. don't act like you're so eccentric that you couldn't make friends because you're just so "different". please. I mean if you described things about yourself that were actually odd, then maybe. but really, the only reason anyone wouldn't be able to make friends is if they believed they couldn't.

anyway, as for your dream, I don't think it has any profound meaning. I think you just really want a boyfriend. that's not all bad, but, I don't think you should dwell on it to the point where you're suffering.

that feeling you described was the feeling of being in love, no doubt. it's a powerful feeling, especially when you're younger and the feeling of infatuation is new and exciting. but you need to be careful, and stay aware, you could get hurt if you're not careful. don't let yourself get so infatuated with one guy that you make blind mistakes. of course, it's easier said than done...but it's like they say, there are "plenty of fish in the sea."

you will get a boyfriend. don't let yourself get impatient. the important thing is that you find the right person for you, and the sooner the better, right? so don't let yourself get wrapped up in someone that may not be right for you. you may wonder how you'll know if they're right for you...well, it's easy to see, as long as you stay aware.

don't obsess over getting a boyfriend right now. I can't stress it enough. you're young, you say, and letting worry over relationships consume you when you're young is a terrible thing. when I was in my early teens, I was obsessed with getting a boyfriend, and I wasted a lot of time thinking about it and stressing over it, and it was stupid. I wish I had spent more time studying. though, I did learn from it, I learned that worrying about relationships is a waste of time, and that if I spend all of that time improving myself instead, people will be more attracted to me anyway.

think about it. instead of worrying, you can put all of your effort into studying and staying healthy, and when you get older you'll be more sensible and generally more attractive. and if you're sensible, you'll attract sensible guys.

take my advice, spend your school years studying, and above all, don't worry.
