Thread: Strange Dream

I am copy and pasting my dream from last night here, i think it has some blatant symbolism but I have a funny feeling there might be something deeper...

There does seem to be strong signs.

I rarely if ever try to interpret any body else's dreams. There are too many variables and only you know "yourself" deep down. Albiet, our dreams can further this realization.

Jung. Of coarse it points to him, sex is involved.
Intimacy between a man and a woman are different. Often woman seek more of the type of intimacy that you are longing for in your dream. kissing. Not just the act of sex.
I have to ask.
Did you feel like it was some manifestation of yourself or a complete different character?
Was this from a first person perspective? < Were you in this character or looking upon the character?
Did it seem MORE like your boyfriend or MORE like somebody else?
Also something to consider. Becasue it seemed like your boy friend, he was different. So ask yourself if you are trying to change him or would like him to change in some manner.
We can't take every dream literally, but it can point to subtleties in our waking life that emerge from our subconscious.

thank you for replying! As for you questions, it was from a first person perspective, and i felt the feelings of the character too. I think it was a manifestation of myself, but in an alternate reality, focusing on only some aspects of myself, i.e. I make jewelry in real life. also, about my boyfriend, the similarity was only in appearance. He looked exactly like my bf, wearing strange garb, but his personality wasn't revealed in the dream, all i knew is that i liked him...it's hard to explain...so i dont think it had to do with trying to change my bf, i am happy with him the way he is

I'm wondering what kissing means to you. You make out that it's important you do this with him. Why? And how do you feel about not ketting a kiss? It can't be just about sexual intimacy as you're having steamy sex. So what's the importance of the kiss? There's the key.

The bird will have significance too. But I can't think what. As does the key. Key usually means just that - you can unlock something.

OK, so basically it's more important to you as a symbol for what you mean to the other person? In which case you're not as close to him as you would like. But the "him" in question is your own internal projection, so this suggests to me that you're close but wish to be closer still to your "inner man". You feel rejected by him, when push comes to shove (no sexual pun intended). What do you think "he" needs to hear from you to feel ready for that greater intimacy?
