My brother thinks it means I'm naive.

So, in this dream I am in this city that looks like a slash between dr. suess and sims Carnival. I am holding onto this pillow and when i squeeze it I am able to float and jump really really high! and how ever much I let go is how quickly I fall down. I know right? So FUN. anyways, a few other things happened in my dream

but my question is, what do you think it means? I told my brother about this dream and he tells me he thinks it means that I am holding onto this reality that I've made myself to stay happy (the pillow), as if I was naive to the whole world and lived in my own dream.

I am an optimistic person. i give people the benifit of the doubt. I take life easily. I like surreal and mystical things. Now I know that what other people think of me doesn't matter, like if they think i am naive, but I just want to hear your opinions.

      thanks!

I don't get the link with naivity but his interpretation is as good as anyones. Apart from yours. If you don't think it means you're naive then it's probably not a correct interpretation. Although I often find that if I really don't think a meaning is correct (i.e. it challenges me too much) then it probably is correct!!!

I would start with how you felt in the dream. Joy? Having fun going up and down? Does it perhaps feel the same as when an adult - one you liked - lifted you into the air as a child for example? If so it means you have found a part of you that's happy. And the pillow? No idea.

thanks burned up, I appreciate the reply.

actually, now that I think about it, it kinda did feel like as if some one was throwing me up into the air. you know, that might be a good link with the dream: my childhood. the cartoonish city, the soft pillow... I have been thinking about my childhod alot lateley

Dreams generally mean what you think they mean, unless they're about teeth falling out. Those dreams are about worry.
