Thread: my dream of the island ((comments appreciated! =] ))

feel like this was somehow significant considering there was alot of symbolism... ill post extra side comments in blue...

most of it was in very dull tones and normally noone ever speaks in my dreams...

if i could get any advice on this...that would be amazing...

Part 1

well it started when i was skydiving ... i dunno why id be trying that but sure... the parachute came out and i was pretty happy to learn that id be landing in the water outside of like...this island. water hurts less then the ground id imagine =/ though, as i was getting closer to landing i noticed i was getting uncomfortably close to this whirl pool type thing...

Well i landed and was able to swim away from the whirl pool and I climbed onto this big black rock close to shore.

Hanging out near the rock were 3 really really big lizards. all were like...the size of me...One looked like a bearded dragon, which i will from here on refer to as the BD kinda like the one i keep as a pet, exept this one had a plate on the back of its neck and the other two were kinda like monitor lizards.

i remember i thought it was really wierd that a bearded dragon was hanging out near the water... considering they live in the desert... but agian...ill deal with it... well as i was gawking at the BD trying to figure out why it was there but it just looked at me yawned, smacked its lips a few times and motioned to the other side of the rock, then it kinda started acting all wierd like it wanted to say "hey dude come check this out!" well i climbed over the top of the rock to look and noticed what looked like... a hippo... just kinda snoozing in the water near the rock god knows why a hippo woud be hanging out with a bunch of lizards i looked back at the BD and it just continued to motion back at the hippo like it wanted me to study it ...i think the lizard was just as confused as i was. well i looked back at the hippo for a few seconds, it opened its big mouth to yawn from beneath the water. I then shruged it off when i saw nothing new and swam to shore.

part 2

I walked for a while now exploring the island. it was pretty with lots of resort areas =D. until i came to this new place... it was sort of like a resort for people who like to go boating but it was all enclosed. I remember my dad was there with his boat... and also that i now, had no idea how to get out. There were all different boats in this small area... and it was also shark infested on a side note... but instead of being surronded by grass like most lakes...it was surrounded by a sort of light marbel steps that leaded up to flat marbel floor.

well i really had no interest in hanging out in the boat with my dad... so i just walked around and explored the resort some more... it was very clean...there were a few rooms with smaller pools... and eventually i found a doorway out... =D BUT THERE WAS A TWIST the doorway out was behind this sitanic alter of somesort... O_o i remember there was a priest throwing holy water on it... probably cause it was evil id imagine... well i just walked right past, and the priest raised an eyebrow and gave me a funny look like "wtf?? why would you do that?!" and i just shruged and kept going. behind the doorway... i noticed everything was much more peaceful and less crowded... there were steps that led down to this new pool no sharks this time, the water even flowed out, and i could tell it was leading back to the island i was in b4. i started using it as a sort of secret place of my own... O_o i think i started building like... a house or a raft or something on the water... though i was using crappy plywood and i was making sure not to touch the steps that led back in with the plywood cause i felt they wernt safe for some reason. Well i ran back in the doorway to get more plywood and ended up finding one of my friends... i was pretty happy though i have no idea who it was though, unfortunatly... =/ well i convinced them to come to this cool place i found, and was leading them past the alter... but they stopped cause they were all like "what are you crazy...im not going near that!!!" and i was like... O_o no seriously... its way better back there...we can get out of this wierd place too if we want..." and once i convinced them to go past i just...barely got to the doorway omg i was just starting to see the trees outside too and we got caught by someone who ran the resort... they yelled at us because we wernt supposed to be back there... and i woke up...


and that was my wierd dream...




oh on a side note i sort of get the feeling the friend i met in the dream had something to do with this guy ive grown to care for deeply at collage, he had a problem recently where his ex from like 2 years ago called and went off about how she wanted to kill herself and a bunch of other people if he didnt date her again, b4 he hung up... now hes getting the same nightmare about running from someone who wants to kill him....

also before i started pursuing him i consulted my raider waite tarot deck and was consistantly getting "the devil" and "10 of cups" for future.
the day after the phone call i got the following spread regarding the situation.
