Thread: Dog/animal party dream

Let me add on to the dream some background info

What i felt during the dream, hmm i felt happy im pretty sure, to see my old dog who died in my dreams, my dog passed away about 6 months ago and i havent dreamt about him in a while, to be honest i was thinking about my dog like 4 hours or so before i went to bed yesterday

when i saw the mechanical dog, i thought it was going to kill me, or attack me, but at the same time, everyone who was in my dream was smiling or laughing at the whole thing, cause i was playin around with the dogs, they all enjoyed it i guess it was fun kinda

this 1 part of the dream this black dog jumped on my rear and it felt like he was mocking me by pretending to hump me and everyone laughed, so i fell down on the floor and like wrestled around with the dog a bit

I'm also starting to remmber the walls, i think they were brick walls, and some kind of fountain in the middle, this place i was at kinda was like a courtyard, all fancy looking, kinda wedding party enviromentish

anyways i cant remmeber seeing a sky either, things were a bit, 'fuzzy' in the dream

and that projection of lions and tigers fighting in the TV projection on the brick wall was quite out of the ordinary

let me explain some things about me

I LOVE ANIMALS, all of them, so dearly, i love animals probably more then most people

anyways, thought i'd add some more info so this can be interpreted easier

Tell me about it... well you must be very sensitive as someone who loves animal so much would be. You mention the attraction part and that has a lot to do with our animalistic nature. Do you think the dream could suggest what you can do about your social skills with women???

i'm not sure, cause i've been having this girl on my mind alot lately that i see in my work building and i cant cough up the courage to say hi or something, we meet eyes but then we both look away kinda, i duno why she does that? maybe she doesnt like me looking at her but im too damn shy to do anything

I know what you're saying. I think that the dream reflects your shyness
maybe in the part of the black dog that knocks you down. Black can represent fear that "knocks you down" from being emotional and following your instincts like the other cheerful dogs in the dream do. Instead maybe you become mechanical like the cyborg dog and tend to protect your feelings from being hurt when faced with someone you find attractive. That is all so natural and ok but it doesn't get you closer with the girl. I think the projection on the wall in your dream that features lions and tigers calls you to gather your inner strength and courage..that is what they stand for. Your shyness could stem from your past or some experience of ridicule but anyway being yourself and natural in front of a woman is the way... don't you agree?

guerilla, if you'd take some advice from a woman, the best thing, the absolute best, sure-fire thing, that you could possibly do is to stop being ambiguous about your feelings and make it plain that you like her. Be chivilrous to her; open doors, hold chairs, and ignore whether or not you feel cheesy doing it. Compliment her. Talk to her as much as you can; don't worry about making conversation or sounding cool, just tell her about things that are important to you, and be sure to ask her about things that are important to her. Then listen. But don't ask her out right away. Just make it really plain how you feel about her, keep doing that for a week or two to give her time to mull it over and work out how she feels in response, and then ask her out. I don't know if i explained this quite clearly, let me elaborate.

this building i work in has multiple seperate companies in it, I don't work with her company I work for a software company and she works for some other company down the hall from our area. So it would be extremely awkward to walk into another companies office randomly hitting on some girl and bothering her at work

Just know the technology ....it's your rational mind that is telling you all the logical excuses why you shouldn't do something that is out of your normal routine. Your intuitive mind tells you to act on your feelings. If it feels good, do it! Now once you are aware you get to choose.
If you so set on the outcome of approacching the girl, it gets to either acceptance or rejection and it seems very dramatic. But if you disregard the outcome, and see it as a fun opportunity to experiment with spontaneity and acting on your feelings...than it seems more of a game.
When you think of the encounter with this girl or another imagine an opportunity and not an obstacle.
