I'm one of those poor unfortunate souls who rarely (almost never) remembers her dreams... reading all these threads I'm actually a little jealous that everyone seems to be having such an active dream life. Last night, however, was an exception. In my dream, I was in a clinic-type setting. There was a young man in a la coat there with me who I knew was a doctor, but not a very good one. Something about the circumstances we were in was freaking him out and he was unable to perform his duties. I don't know why.

My roommate (and friend of about a decade) was sitting on an examination table in a considerable state of distress. She was fully clothed, wearing an outfit I frequently see her wear. The doctor was trying to perform some sort of procedure on her but wasn't able to. He was trying to give her an injection of a cloudy, pale blue liquid. Finally he gave up and handed the equipment over to me. I extracted the liquid from the vial with a very old-fashioned looking syringe, then I distracted her with some sort of joke and jabbed the needle into her upper arm (with a considerable amount of force). I wasn't disturbed at all (like the doctor was) but I was aware that the situation was really serious. But I had no fear- I was almost giddy, certainly excited, even though the situation was high-stress.

Like I said, I rarely remember my dreams and this was so clear and so vivid that I feel like it must mean something. But I means very little to me. Dream interpretation isn't something I usually have much of a need for, so any help would be appreciated.
