i am new please help w/this dream

okay my finace has had this dream several times and we can not figure out what this means. First of all it is him and his father(who has been deceased for 5 years and was also confined to a wheelchair) is walking and guiding him to a delivery room. My fiance is surrounded by a white light but hid father is not. As Larry (his dad) guides him he is telling him to raise his child the best he can and to spend as much time with the child as he can because he doesn't have much longer here. They get to the delivery room and there i am with a new baby girl that weighs 7 pounds 8 ounces. Now in some of them he can completely see me but others he can only see a body that looks like mine. The face is not visible. This dream really bothers him and we cannot figure it out. Can someone please help us. We really need to understand this he is starting to lose sleep over this. Thank you for your time.

Re: i am new please help w/this dream

I'm not the best here at dream interpretation, but I'll offer a few suggestions. Maybe after reading them, something might occir to you as to the meaning of these dreams.

okay my finace has had this dream several times and we can not figure out what this means.

Having a dream several times is usually a sign of something your subconcious is trying to tell you.

Keep in mind that getting married is a significant life event. The stress from planning weddings and getting ready to merge your new lives could have caused some pervious trauma to surface.
A few questions here to ask yourselves:
      1. Was his father's death long and painful?
      2. Did he have a close relationship with his father
      3. Does he feel that he didn't spend enough time with his father and feels that he should spend more time with any kids you have down the road.
      4. Does he feel bad because his father will not be able to see his future grandchildren?

The white light can be interpreted as a sign of being alive and well. It could indicate health and vitality. Hence your fiancee has a bright light surrounding him and his father does not.

They get to the delivery room and there i am with a new baby girl that weighs 7 pounds 8 ounces. Now in some of them he can completely see me but others he can only see a body that looks like mine. The face is not visible. This dream really bothers him and we cannot figure it out.

This also sounds like an anxiety reaction. Perhaps your fiancee is worried that he will not be around to take care of you as well?

I hope some of this helps shed some light. Remember, the answer is within yourselves.

      Congratulations on you upcomming marriage!

Thanks for your insight! To answer your questions, his dad had multiple sclorosis and was in a wheelchair for 16 years, yes they were close, my fiance feels that his dads death was his fault beacuse he was suppose to go and see him that day and he didn't, and he does feel bad that his won't get to be with his children. Your insight helped a lot but he is still having this dream. Thank you again.

I'm not so good at dream intrepration, but if you want to stop this dream, have him talk to his dad in a dream and provide some closure.

This is my first time trying to interpret a dream, but this is what i think...
If you and your fiance has a baby, I think he feels heavy responsibility for raising the child and not messing him/her up.
If you dont have a baby with him, he anticipates the moment when you do have a son/daughter.
Whats better than complete freedom from laws, both judicial and physical?
