Does this mean i have time travelling british inside of me?

Ok, i hope this isn't too confusing or long, but if i can write this down in the middle of the night, then you can read it now

These are actually three different dreams, but they were all in the same sleep, and they star the same character.

      1) It starts off with a 'narrator' telling me about this nineteenth century british guy that they found in the middle of the pacific, fossilised millions of years ago. The archeologists had found out that he would have been sick, but alive at the time he was trapped.

Now it goes to an over the sholder view, and i'm the main character. There was a big eruption which caused a landslide to bury him. Everything is really sped up, like an iceage every ten seconds. Next thing you know, all the continents have moved lots and he is un frozen. He starts swimming, and suddenly hes frozen again. (i feel the cold, and i basically just whince )

      2) Now there are more nineteenth century people. They're in a hotel, and there are two detectives and lots of hotel staff, and the main guy is 'in the other room.'

for some reason, i came to the conclusion that this part is set millions of years ago, like some big pre historic television show. the stars of the show are the two detectives. I think its like.. starsky and hutch... i havent seen the movie or any of the old episodes. Its a bit more serious than that though.

The people in the hotel are busy, like they are helping the detectives find out something about the fossil guy.

In the other room, the sick fossil guy is picking at his orthadontic expander. It comes out and the glue tastes horrible. He tries to get some bits out, and swallows some of the little bits.

( i recently i got an orthadontic expander on my top set of teeth. it expands them... its like two plastic bits glued on each side, and it has a screw like thing in the middle.)

At this point the rest of the dream stopped, and the main character was basically just me for a bit, i talked about getting it fixed, and it must have gone back to 'normal.'

BTW: my expander fell out, but now its in with stronger glue, so you can see why i was dreaming about it.

Now it gets a bit weird. the detectives are in the lobby, and they're talking about me/the fossil guy. One of them tells the other that i've sent some particles down the wrong system, and something is mentioned about de-sterilysation.

      3) Now it shows the main character climbing up this weird rope obstacle, it has large boxes attached to it. he/me seem to be happy. Hes in a large square room, it is like a warehouse, and it has a cold cement floor. Eventually he reaches the top, and finds his own phone number. During this a 'narrator' (it never shows anyone else in the room) is talking to him. i cant really remember any of the dialogue, but if you ask me i might have an idea.

Ok, what i would like to know is, why was i dreaming about little nineteeth century british detectives inside of me, does the fossilization and the rope course have any meaning? I already know this looks a bit like Dr. Who... but that doesn't explian where the little detectives and other things come from.

I tried to include everything, but ask me some questions and i will give more details if they're needed, and if i can.

okay... for starters, you remember your dreams really well! and secondly, they seem very random!!! try to think of anything which might relate to those dreams in your life - like history books? or a film you saw which remeinded you of someone - the list goes on for ages, but the main idea is to link these things in. once you have found something that would make your brain think of fossils and ninetenth century people while you are asleep, think of why that would become main priority for your thoughts...

note how did you feel in the dream? do you remember why? does this contradict how you feel in real life? - or does it explain things and tie in with your real life feelings? is none of it making sense still? well i suggest you see a doctor.. JOKE! no, it's probably something that was lurking in your mind a long time ago and something subconsiously reminded you of it in your waking life.

OR, we could look at is as a scenario that could be compared to something in your life. A british guy being frozen for millions of years... One would say that maybe you are yet to show your true potential? Or your true self? Or you are waiting for something to help flourish your personality, emotions, agenda, etc.

it seems very random, although i understand which feelings, movies and books most of it comes from, but all these things put together seem to be a little deeper than just memories regurgitated.

i agree with Death-Wuad, maily because the fossilization doesn't seem to be related to anything physical that i can think of. (fossilization isn't something that i have thought about for ages, its not related to any of my hobbies...)

lucid dreaming is something that i want to practise because it helps me to enjoy the real world, and its a good creativity tool. I registered here yesterday, so i can see how realising my potential might be incorporated into the dream. I'm also practising sketching and drawing as a way to express myself better.

i still have no idea about most of the second part, mainly the detectives, and could it being set in a hotel have any significance?

the third part, climbing the rope obstacle... the only obstacles i've been climbing lately would be my effort to be employed, so perhaps that fits in vaguely?
