This seems fairly straightforward. What was your reaction to the waves – do you remember how you felt, i.e. were you scared, puzzled, bored, etc?

Water generally represents emotions in dreams. The fact that you only saw big waves means your emotions are “choppy” to say the least! Have you been feeling down as well? That would be the “blue” waves.

And because you can only see the waves, it means you are not grounded, stable or feeling secure.

Does that help at all? If anything doesn’t ring true, just discard it.

Well when I dreamed of the waves I didn't see anything but a little beach and huge dark blue waves, I felt them crashing down on the ground and I could hear it.
