What do you think about this dream?

Everynight, exactly two hours after I go to sleep, I wake up with the same vision . . . there is a large live oak (type of oak tree here in louisiana), and it is green with leaves. There is no breeze, no wind, perfectly still. This tree is in the middle of a field, with nothing but grass to see in all direction. Something is chopping at the trunk of the tree, but it is not visible. All I see is the wood chips flying from the tree, and it never goes any deeper into the tree trunk. It's like on an endless loop. What are your thoughts?

      This is my interpretation.

The large live oak represents a man. A man with a very powerful spirit.
It being green with leaves means the man is alive.

the "no breeze / wind" means the man is calm (very patient).

The tree in the middle of a field grass in all directions.
The grass represents "darkness / evil". This man (oak = good) a good
man is somehow surrounded by an evil presence (because he is good.)

Something is chopping at the trunk of the tree, but it is not
visible. All I see is the wood chips flying from the tree.

This means that this evil presence is attacking this man from
an obscure / hidden location (the evil presence hides itself).

it never goes any deeper into the tree trunk.

This means that the man's spirit can withstand these attacks
      from this evil presence.

If you have perplexing dreams and would like to know what they mean,
just use the dream technique known as "Sleep Programming" where you
"ask a question" and you get a reply to that question in the form of a dream
      that same night.

      This is how it works:

Say this out loud before you go to sleep:

"I WISH TO KNOW THE TRUTH: WHAT DOES THE DREAM ABOUT THE OAK IN THE MIDDLE OF THE FIELD MEAN?"

Then go to sleep and you will get a dream tonight explaining your question.

Treesstand for things that are deeply rooted inyour life. Try this page for further defintions of trees

So if this tree is being chopped down then it could symbolize your fears. Do you feel as if the lousiana way of life is under threat? Do you feel as if things important are being undermined?

      ------------------------
Many people think that dreams contain messages. Yes thats true to a certain extent. But really dreams are often just our best guesses. Dreams are symbolic of judgements that we have to make. Often we do not have access to all the information that we require. For instance you maybe angry that a friend seems uncooperative and seems to have been sending out some very negative signals. That maybe the best guess that you can come to. Yet you may not have all the facts and you might be in ignorance as to the real reason for your friends strange behavior. So try not to see dreams as being the best source of advice. They merely reflect some latest judgement. That judgement is probably the best guess but could very easily be wrong.
These pages are especially helpful in showing you how to interpret dreams
