      dream about the appocolypse....

Well it all started with me and my best friend, we were at an amusement park, and we wanted to go on a roller coaster. so we walk into a line for one of the really fast coasters and find a bunch of people from our school waiting there as well, including one of my guy friends, who I don't get to talk to that much. As my best friend, our whole group of school friends and I, are waiting in line, the amusement park slowly turns into our town mall, and instead of us waiting in line, we're all sitting on some bleachers in the middle of the mall. The only strange thing about our mall is that I can still see the sky through the roof. As everyone is sitting and talking, I'm watching the sky and I notice the sun is flickering slowly on and off, as if it was going to just go out or explode. I quickly point this out to everyone that the world might be ending, but nobody really pays attention. In fact everyone was slowly leaving as i watched the sun, by the time I stopped looking at it everyone including my best friend who I had been with at the park, was gone. Then I noticed that I wasn't comepletely by myself, my one guy friend, who had been sitting next to me the whole time, was still there. I then asked him if he wanted to go find the other's who had left, and he says "No, I just want to stay here." So I stay with him on the bleachers until everyone comes back. And by that time I guess they finally figured out we were all going to die, because they all had T-shirts on that said "it's the apocalypse." My best friend came over and sat next to me again, everyone seemed pretty scared, except for my one guy friend, who didn't show any interest at all throughout the whole dream. I was pretty scared myself, so i tried to hug my guy friend, and he goes "get your hand away from me" Then my friend grabbed my hands and pulled them away from him.

I think I may be able to help if you can clarify things a bit. There was too many "friends" running around in there. Can you type it out and specify Friend A and Friend B and so on... That way I know which sentences are referring to which friend? You don't need to put in their actual names... Just some way of referencing them so I can tell them apart. Thanks

I'm sorry, now that I read it over...it is a bit confusing, well there are only two people in it that I can be specific about...here, I re-did the post specifying each one. I'm ok with using names, it might make it easier.

Well it all started with me and my best friend Rachel, we were at an amusement park, and we wanted to go on a roller coaster. so we walk into a line for one of the really fast coasters and find a group of people from our school, there are too many of them to name but there are about twenty people, and among them there is my friend John, who I don't get to talk to that much. As my best friend Rachel and I are waiting in line with this group of twenty or so people from my school (including John), the amusement park that we're at slowly turns into our town mall, and instead of us waiting in line, we're all sitting on some bleachers in the middle of the mall. The only strange thing about the mall is that I can still see the sky through the roof. Everyone I mentioned earlier is just sitting and talking, while I'm watching the sky. I notice the sun is flickering slowly on and off, as if it was going to just go out or explode. I quickly point this out to Rachel and John, and say the world might be ending, but they aren't really paying attention. In fact everyone on the bleachers was slowly leaving (the group of twenty people) as I continued to watch the sun flicker, by the time I stopped looking at it everyone including Rachel, was gone. Then I noticed that I wasn't comepletely by myself, John, who had been sitting next to me the whole time, was still there. I then asked him if he wanted to go find out where Rachel went to, and he says "No, I just want to stay here." So I stay with him on the bleachers until everyone comes back (By that I mean the big group of people, and my friend Rachel). Turns out only a few people from the group came back, including my friend Rachel, but they had finally figured out that we were all going to die, because they had T-shirts on that said "it's the apocalypse." Then Rachel came over and sat next to me again (she was the only person who sat back down on the bleachers again, everyone else just walked past them), As Rachel, John and I sat on the bleachers, everyone we saw seemed pretty scared, except for John, who didn't show any interest at all throughout the whole dream. I was pretty scared myself, so I tried to hug him, and he goes "get your hand away from me" Then Rachel grabbed my hands and pulled them away from him.

      Dear Evening Moon,

I see a couple of things here, which may help you just a bit...for more deeper interpretation we would need more about your life at the moment
What I see is two things..having fun in fun park turns into a apocalyptic scene of a kind. And second, there is this tension between two characters...your friend Rachel and John. If we turn a dream a bit around it could be connected.
Rachel and John could be two aspects of your own personality...Rachel seems to be a bit more out-going and comunicative and John seems to be more introerted and deep. We all have shallover and deeper layers of our personalities and nothing wrong with it. In a dream nobody else notices the fact that the apocalypse is coming except you. Apocalypse with this blinking sun (often symbolizes the real Self in us) could mean, taht you are going through some kind of period of transformation...as I can understand you are still quite young...so you are probably changing as a natural way of growing up...every end(apocalypse) also means a begining of something else..that is what transformations of our personality is all about and that is ok... at the begining you are afraid (in reality a part of you knows, that you are changing, but others still don't notice it), later they go away and when situation in a dream changes only the deeper part of yourself(in a character with the mask of John) stays with you and gives you a sense of security, because you are not alone, you have this deeper male part of you to lean on.
Others then return and now they all know, that the big change is coming...maybe your real friends and people you are close to slowly accept your changing and transformation, your growing up....you are all a bit afraid, what will come...we are all afraid of unknown and transformations always bring something new, unknown, a different world after the end of old one...at the end there is again a bit of a tension between John and Rachel...could mean, that two aspects of you are haveing a bit of a small fight for your attention
Beautiful and very natural dream, speaking about changes we all go through.

      Manymore nice dreams I wish,

      Plato
