my mind is kind of messed up...

last night in my dream me and someone else almost drowned, but we were saved, the other person was calling my name for help... and there was also a huge storm, the water was so hard it caused an earthquake...

Water represents the unconscious. Drowning means being overwhelmed by some unconscious emotion you have no control over. (fro example walking over water is the other side, where you have control over your emotions/unconscious). Somehow this emotion has to do with you thinking you have to help someone? Storm is also uncontrolled emotions and earthquake is something going on in the deep unconscious mind that is disturbed about something.

huh?? do you have a friend who is very needy and always relying on you, but sometimes you feel like you need a bit more support yourself

well I think this is what your dream is about, it is you recogonising on some level that you feel you have to take care of this other person even when you feel a bit lost or in need of help yourself. Maybe you should talk to your friend about it, but usually when people are in these situations there is what is called a co-dependency happening, you need this other person who is needy to look up to you for your own self esteem

There are two parts of you - one the conscious self and the other the silent self. Water may be representing the emotions. Both of you are drowning. The silent self calls you and wakes you to the emotions. You both are struggling - information is being passed between yourselves to survive. This is happening very deep - the earth is splitting representing your material world. The storm which is soaring representing the mixture of air and water - water that is hot wishing to cool - maybe anger as well as destruction. I feel the dream is positive, it is alerting you to something is wrong - really wrong and you must wake up and help your inner being as this is now effecting your outer world.
