Thread: Puzzling dream; the birth of my daughter?

Hello,

Okay 1st of all I don't actually have a daughter or any children at all, I'm a bit young. Oh and I'm a guy.

Anyway the dream goes something like this...

I'm in a hospital, but I'm not in a waiting room of any sort, I'm not in a patient's room (yet) I'm just in a hospital. I don't actually witness the child birth at all, all i can remember is the baby, which my head wanted me to think was my daughter, wrapped in a pastel pink outfit inside an open incubator with my mother beside it and me and, for some reason, random unknown people who didn't look like nurses or doctors. In any case I pick up the baby and I look in her face and I start weeping out of joy and then my mother says "she's beautiful", some strangers pat my shoulder and repeat what my mother said, "she's beautiful", at this point I can't help but feel rather proud, such is my nature.

Then I enter the room of the person who have birth to my child and to my surprise, or at least my waking conscious' surprise, it was a girl who I haven't seen in almost 2 years. However 2 years ago something between me and her happened in a short period of time which led up to me falling for her (at least I think so) and for around 1 year I've been crazy about her thinking of her every day, I since ceased thinking about her everyday and being as crazy about her. During that time (the 1st year) I had dreams about her lets say about every 2 months or so if I was lucky (yes lucky!) there were some closer together than that. Needless to say when I dreamt about her I was very very happy and hated whoever woke me up from those dreams, and this dream was no exception. As I was in this room I started seeing why my mother and the strangers said my daughter is/was beautiful, the reason was lying on the bed starring at me.

Sorry if its a bit vague but the above is the only accurate account i can make of my dream, honestly its all I remember because it struck me literally.

Now its not like its the 1st time i dream about a girl, the thing is that since I stopped thinking about her as regularly for that year I would never have expected her to pop into my head let alone my dream like that with such an influential story(?). Usually I dream about any 1 girl I like once or so. The dream was like I was falling for her all over again and now my mind is focused on deciphering the dream and the idea around it.
