Thread: Dream of murder, sort of...

Hi, im new here, and to be honest i dont know what a lucid dream is, so i hope im in the right forum. The weird thing about this dream is that its been a long time since i remember any of my dreams, but this one i remember clearly. I hope you can help in telling me what it might mean. Here it goes:

I am now living in mexico but was born in california, in this dream i was back in cali. I dreamt i was at a supermarket, and i was very hungry, so i stole some food, i dont know why cause i had money. So i grab the food, and as im going to leave i see some security guards get up and walk towards me. I i turn around and start to run to the other exit, and 2 more guys get up from that side and start to walk towards me. i turn and enter another door, i remember a lot of offices. There was this girl waiting in line, i start talking to her, i have never seen her before, but in my dream it was almost like she was my girlfriend or something. I dont remember what we talked about, i remember telling her to wait there for me, and i stuff the food in my jacket and leave it with her. I then walk out into the parking lot. I wasnt scared, but a little confident. I see an older man with glasses looking for me, he wasnt wearing a security uniform but he was also looking for me, he sees me and walks toward me, and i tell him i have nothing, that he can search me. When he gets up close, i wrestle him to the ground. I grab him by the collar of his t shirt, and i tell him "youre too old for this, your time is up, its our turn now." as im holding him, this kid walks up, a little younger than me and starts hitting him in the face. When i see the man bleeding, i tell the kid to stop. He then goes away. Another kid runs up and starts hitting him in the back of the head with some type of chain, again when i see the man bleeding, and he was bleeding a lot, i tell the kid to stop and he goes away. I clearly remember i didnt want this man to die, i made sure to tell them to stop when he was hurt, but still conscious. I then sit the man up against a wall and he tells me that i have 20 mins to leave the parking lot so they wont catch me. I get up and looked back at him, but he was dead. I go back into the offices and find the girl, and i say "my love, we have to leave now". I take her around another exit so she cant see the dead guy outside, and we leave. Thats when i woke up.

Can anyone tell me if this dream has any meaning? Like i said i NEVER remember my dreams anymore, its been years, but this one is still very clear in my mind. I didnt wake up scared, but rather a little relaxed. I had gone out with friends and slept a little that night, but this happened during an afternoon nap of about 3 or 4 hours. Im not a criminal, or a violent person, which is why this is so confusing. Thank you for your help.
