      microwave and coffe pot

      Hello, dreamers!
I had an "epic" dream last night. I had some normal-ish dream sequences about swimming with whales and dolphins, suggesting some emotional and spiritual openings. I was able to easily decipher and relate to those symbols.

However, the next dream sequence is a little bit confusing to me. I was in my classroom (I'm a teacher) and there was a substitute in the room. The sub was giving each child an entire corning ware dish of jello. I was trying to heat up some water. At first, the appliance was a microwave, but then it was a coffee maker. It kept changing back and forth. It was getting very hot, and I didn't want to start a fire, but it wouldn't stop running. I unplugged it from the wall, but it kept on running. I put the coffee pot back in, and it slowly the motor cooled down.

I have been unable to find an interpretation for appliances that run while unplugged.

      Any ideas?? THANKS!

I am looking at the appliances - kettle heats water slower than the microwave the heats quickly.

      Both are kitchen appliances.

I have come to associate water with emotions. Hot water? Maybe "being in hot water" or getting in trouble (and feeling sort of powerless to control the situation)? A good way to interpret dreams is to see what emotions you associate with it, then you can work backwards at determining what it may have meant.

Kettle can also be a symbol of the old.
Microwave symbol of the new. Or a "micro" "wave" meaning a small wave - not getting acknowledgement, or using small amount of effort to get results.

Also interesting you noted the pract teacher as a "sub" - is there a person who is not doing the role you expect of them and you are doing their work that could heat you up a little.

Or your placed in the kitchen when you want to be in the classroom.

      Who knows? You know
