      A Question

I've had a few dreams where I kill people I know. I don't do it because I hate them, my mates aren't bad people at all.

In real life I'd never kill someone just because, and I wonder if these dreams have a special meaning about them?

I personally don't think your dream means anything, you said it yourself, you would never kill anyone.

Weird things happen in dreams, I wouldn't think to much on it.

That's a bit of a long time, actually.

But yeah, it can mean alot of things.
You just have to think about that killing somebody in a dream is really not as significant as it is in real life.

Killing somebody in your dream could just mean that you have been fustrated about something the person did, or he/she made you angry, and you needed to vent a bit while you were sleeping.

And it could also just be because you've played violent video games, or seen alot of violent movies. Stuff you experience flows into your dreams sometimes

And as you said, you would never do it in real life, so even if there is a special meaning to it, then it probably isn't worth worrying too much about

But I'm no expert in dream interpretation
Maybe if you really want to know, you could post a Dream Journal entry in the Dream Interpretation subforum and have one of those guys find out what it means for you..

On the one hand, I would say no. I have done all sorts of things in dreams, both lucid and not, that I would never dream of doing in waking life (if you'll excuse the cheesy pun ). My personal opinion is that people invest far too much in interpreting dreams, which I view mainly as scrambled bits of day residue (albeit entertaining ones).

On the other hand... every day for the past year is quite a lot.
