      Snakes, bath of eels

I dreamt of an old lover who betrayed me.

I walked along a street near where he and I lived. A huge snake came near me. He told me I was a scady-cat.

At the corner of his bed at the lower base was another large snake. I demanded he get the snake outside. He at first told me the snake was in my imagination. I insisted and he found the snake. I was relieved and thought he would just place the snake outdoors. On the verandah, he snapped it's neck in front of me. I was horrified.

He then went inside and two women were making fun of me in our kitchen. The dream then moved to him being in an old-fashioned bath with the two women and eels. I was sickened at the filthy water and dirty eels.

In r/l when I first met this old lover he had an odour which was not good.

not so sure about the intricacies of you relationship, but i'd have to say that he might still be involved somehow in your heart/mind.

the snakes and eels would probably represent either sin or something that you consider to be wrong, and thus, are afraid to interact with. again, these two women would suggest some sort of jealousy or remnants of his betrayal (ie: those tramps that he left me for, or something to that affect)

it's something to think about. i could be completely wrong... or... not!

I was not going to place the part about snakes in at first as I was interested in why the symbolism went to eels. The snakes represent the danger he placed me in. But why would my mind use the eels rather than the snakes?

I am not a jealous person, the betrayal was hurtful as I uprooted my life and family for him and re-established myself to have to leave quickly. He did not leave me for tramps - he left me and abused me because he wanted more money.

I did not recognise the women in the dream.

      Another snake dream

I had a dream last night that I will tag onto this dream as can flow from the last. I was in a car accident with my son near our home a few months ago.

In the past black snakes in my dream are playful.

I am in the dream with my son. I am near the edge of the forrest where I live near in r/l. A black Australian snake about 4cm in diameter and half meter long.

The snake, my son and I play seated on the ground. Suddenly, I notice a change. I tell my son to run. I follow him and the snake is chasing us. We run harder and the snake seems to have an ability to fly through the air at both of us.

Rain starts and the snake subdues and there is no danger.

      again, not completely sure, buuuuutttt:

it seems that the theme in this dream is a change. what once was comfortable is now... uhmm.. dangerous, eg, the snake.

you also may just fear for the life of your son. perhaps the world you thought was safe for him is now your subconscious danger to him
