im 17 and male. im having a recurring dream. changed the names to twilight characters cause its funny (for me atleast). edward is one of my friends and bella is his girlfriend. in the dream, the second girl was nameless. and i dont recongnise her.
A white yacht drifts gently down the river during the black of night. Once we are docked I am the first off, a thin layer of mist floats around my feet when I step onto the boardwalk. I turn to help my date off the boat; she is absolutely glamorous though it is not her that I am interested in. Edward steps of the boat without as much as a stumble. As he turns to help Isabella down he throws me one of his trademarked crooked grins. I had been invited with one of Edward and Isabella’s friends. We gather for a moment and then without a word, Edward begins walking. I turn to walk with him as he passes me and the girls follow on afterwards.
He asks me, “What is another word for excited?” I tell him that elated would be appropriate. “Right. I am elated that you came tonight.” I look out across the river; the city lights reflect off of the water like a dazzling vampire. We take the stairs up to the restaurant, a glass dome that overlooks the river and wait to be seated. “How about for flammable?” He asks. “I’m not sure, but you aren’t flammable.” I reply.
Once we are all seated, I suggest that the word that Edward may have been looking for was ‘combustible’. Nobody responds to this though, they just stare past me. Before I can say anything further, Edward says, “spider.” I turn to see what he was looking at. I tell him that it is in fact not a spider, but a grasshopper. However, perched on the wall is a grasshopper that nobody would be able to identify. It has three bulbous segments, each with two enormous legs, the hind two being the largest, and glows a toxic yellow colour.
The grasshopper begins crawling towards us and my chest tightens. “You like me, don’t you.” Says Edward, it isn’t a question. “I do” I, and to my surprise Isabella reply. The grasshopper is speeding up. Edward ignores Isabella and say’s to me flatly, “I don’t know why. We don’t speak or even get along. I try when we are together.” Isabella concurs and then my three companions say, “I don’t like you.” The grasshopper is moving at a breakneck speed. My company, completely void of any emotion stand and leave. The grasshopper leaps and lands on Edward who carries it out of the restaurant.
if anyone can give me some hints, twood be awesome
