Exclamation Weirdest Dream/Situation I've ever Had

The weirdest thing happened to me last night. Right when I was falling asleep, I was thinking of this random person I know, and saw her in a classroom, and she was explaining something to this guy. This whole time I thought I was thinking this, not dreaming it, (in other words, I wasn't a character) but then I knew I was once the girl's eye fell out!!! (I think that I was thinking of a prostetic eye, which is probally why it happened, yet I wasn't lucid...) Her whole eye landed on the floor, then when I looked back her, she just had the white part in her eye still there. I woke up breathing hard. Note that I just fell asleep, and that I went right into the dream. It lasted for like 30 seconds.

Does anyone know what's going on here? I hope I put this in the right forum, this one took some contemplating.

If you see a strange typo in my post, blame my iPad for that.

You probably woke from the shock if that's what you mean

I realize that, but I don't get everything else

What parts don't you get? Why it feel out even though you weren't lucid? I think you can still exert some kind of control over a dream even if you aren't lucid, but, that's a guess on my part

The last part must be very true, I've changed a couple of minor things before in non-lucid dreams. But I really don't get how I thought that I was day dreaming. I knew it wasn't real, but not that it was a dream because I thought that I was thinking it, not dreaming it.

It's quite possible you just slipped into a dream as you were day dreaming
