Thread: Military Dream On 4th July 09 Night.

First, do note that I am not American so 4th July has no symbolic significance for me.

I dreamt of being made to do push up by my sergeant. My three other squad mates also joined me. Suddenly, the sergeant black dog starts convulsing symbolising that it needs water. 4 of us go out. I met a white cat, my friend met a black cat. The third day was always with the sergeant dog. I am not sure what the last guy met. Either way, all of us made the way to the river. I examined the white cat. It appears to be friendly. It has a pair of white fang (like those of a snake) with a red ruby on top.

I followed the path STRAIGHT AHEAD to the river.

One of my friends followed the black cat 45 degrees LEFT.

The last guy went to the path on the RIGHT and made a detour to the river.

When I reached the river, I fed the cat with water. Intuitively, I know that I will not make it back (alive?).

Here is a little bit about my background:

My country has a conscript military for 2 years. I was posted in the service sector. This is sometimes I regretted later on in life as I felt I could have "learnt something" if I was a combatant.

I am Chinese. According to my culture, black is considered to be inauspicious. Therefore, we chase away black cats during wedding and funerals. Black crows if seen are considered to be a bad omen too. Red however symbolises prosperity.
