There are various symbolic meanings that the number 4 could be.
Here are a few off the top of my head:
four seasons, four directions=stability, unchanging, consistency, balance

So.....your subconscious wants you to create stability, consistency, and balance in your life?

Well this was two dreams,
One involved me getting bitten on the right hand by a Black Widow. When I looked at it a second time, a long, crab-like claw.

In the other dream, someone was showing a picture to me on a computer monitor that he claimed to be four dimensional, he also gave me some formula to create a fourth dimension.

This Black Widow, with a claw, is creepy. Since it's your right hand, it's something that's affecting your left brain, i.e., the masculine intellectual/rational side. Claws=crabs=cancer=abnormal growth of some kind. Im not talking about literal cancer, but something that is like it. I'd say it's someone who is infecting you with some bad ideas that could grow like a cancer and take hold, probably someone on the internet, since it's also called the Web, like spiders build.

And that leads to the computer monitor. I've seen a person on another board that I just left who is always carrying on about the fourth dimension and planet X, and what he says is pretty farfetched, and refuted on a lot of websites, so that may be something you've encountered as well? I never did really figure out what he meant by the fourth dimension, but it was related to some strange aliens somehow.

There is a more positive meaning for the fourth dimension in a Hebrew text called The Book of Creation, which lists our three physical dimensions, then says the fourth dimension is TIME, and the fifth dimension is SPIRIT. I like that one! It at least makes some sense!

If I dreamed this, I would take it as a warning to avoid some of the wilder ideas out there about the nature of our reality and spirituality.

I'm all for herbs, but cannabis doesn't seem to have been one that my dreams and guides recommend. Hemp's great for making rope though. Legal for that too! Well, but I don't suppose we can grow it for that purpose even in the U.S.? Ah, the complexities of it all!

I used to live in San Francisco back in 1966-7, back in the heydey of the Haight-Ashbury. It was my honeymoon year with my ex. We went one night to a "Love-In" at the Glide Memorial Methodist Church, which rather shocked this young woman who I was, all innocent from a Rhode Island fishing and summer resort community, as people were all laying on the floor smoking marijuana, and they were showing sex education videos in the library, and a woman in a negligee was dancing in front of the pulpit while a rock band played. The air was so think with smoke, you didn't need to be smoking anything yourself at all. I got so sick from it, I knew that smoking pot wasn't for me! I went up on the roof to get some air, but then, of course, I had to go back down through it all before we could leave. My ex's brother-in-law was there too, and said that later the police raided the place and broke it all up, and the people who were left all went down to the beach and literally buried their heads in the sand. Do you hear that? Buried their heads in the sand. I'm not so sure one couldn't kill themselves doing that, really.

The Glide Memorial Methodist Church was the one that acted as a go-between when Patty Hurst was kidnapped, and is (in)famous for their sex-education videos. Odd for a church!

I loved San Francisco, but am also glad to be back in New England!

LOL... I just had a serious FLASHBACK to that time in San Francisco, but no drugs required. "The View" had on a group all dressed in Hippie garb singing, "This is the dawning of the Age of Aquarius," and "Let the Sunshine In," and passing love beads around... a little synchronicity perhaps. Barbara Walters and Whoopi Goldberg, being of my generation, were totally ecstatic and into it!

I just accidently found a website about "4th dimension". It's a term that some Christians use to talk about their spirituality. So....someone (yourself?) is seeking or desires information about religion.?
