Dreaming of the to-be Future?

Here is the dream: An unfamiliar car drives up into a somewhat familiar cul-de-sac; out of the car come two adults, one male and one female ( I am the male), then out come three children ( two boys and one girl, I am guessing they are my kids) and finally two dogs (what type I don't remember). The car is parked in front of a long-abandoned house with vines and plants going up and down the house. We go to the front of the house and the family surveys it for a moment, they converse a little and then they eventually head to the back of the house. When they get there one of the little boy says to the father, "Daddy, didn't you live here when you were younger?" The father then replies, "Yes I did son, such a long time ago." The wife looks at the husband as he puts his hand on the handle of the door and says, "You sure you're ready for this?" The father remains silent and pulls the door open and what is seen is a room with tables broken on the floor, trash and other object all over the place....Then the dream fades away What do you guys think about that?

Lots of people have kinda "motion picture", seemingly prophetical dreams nowadays. Your dream clearly stands for a subliminal wish, general happiness. The view of the houses inside is what your dream interprets as your "current status", as in "not so happy".

I'm no expert, but I think that your dream was less prophetic, more desire. I think that you want your future to be this happy family, moving into this neighborhood that you may or may not know. I don't take the trashed hosue as a bad sign though. Ther eIS the possibility that it means that you want to or plan on moving away from your current home in the future, but, like in the dream, you'll want to go back.
