      What does this mean??

      Hi guys,

i woke up this morning with a weird dream which i would like to find the meaning of.

Just before i woke up, i remember that I was somewhere inside a room(sorry dont remember details) and all of a sudden someone opened a door opened and then it knocked some of my teeth out.for the rest of the dream i was so surprised and not believing that my teeth got knocked out that i was thinking about it the whole time and it really felt like some of them were gone. There was no blood or anything like that.I also woke up with an erection.

if anyone could give me an indication in what direction this is going...

i currently am in a relationship and my girlfriend has from the beginning of june gone back to europe to finish off her studies and she's comming back by the end of the year.

if anyone can help it would be much appreciated.
      thanks

      well,

i get the broken teeth thing a lot, and I think its common and usually associated with stress. Do you grind your teeth, or clench your jaw in your sleep? could be that.. but I think its a sign that your stressed about something.

And for the erection... don't you always wake up with and erection? I do, its called morning wood. haha, I don't think its related.

But my questions is, why did you mention your girlfriend? do you think she has something to do with your dream?

      Hi action9,

I find in my dreams that loss of teeth represent loss of power in some way, and here, you seem to be in this room, but oblivious to where you are in the sense of being too close to the door, thus putting yourself at risk when someone came and opened it. How does this reflect your waking life? Are you in some way not cautious about what's going on around you in a self-protective way, thus setting yourself up to get hurt or injured?

You might also consider the possibility of it being precognitive and literal, and if you find yourself in that particular room, stay away from the doors!

I don't think the erection or your girlfriend necessarily had anything to do with the dream. Unless you are putting yourself at risk in some way that has something to do with her, like not practicing safe sex, thus risking a pregnancy... that could lead to loss of power in the sense of limiting your choices in life. I don't know how old you are, but I'm thinking if you want to go to college for example, it would be harder with a baby to consider. Anyway, think on it! I'll check back tomorrow.

On another note, the longer you focus on something in a dream, like your knocked out teeth, the more real it will become. If you had gotten distracted in your dream, by let's say a falcon flying into your face, and it alighted somewhere, and you stared at it, the bird would probably look very real.

Lucidity is great not just for nightmares, but also dreams that are kind of gross like this. haha

Is having an erection when you wake up an unusual thing? I have had erections almost every single morning for the past 20 + years.

Why did you mention your girlfriend? She must have something to do with this. Not my erections, your dream I mean.

      Hi,

      thanks for the reply!!!

well everyone is in stress nowadays esspecially myself with my studies. And for the unprotected sex thing with my girlfriend,i dont think thats in any way possible at the moment cause she's about 10000km away at the moment completing her exams in another country and comming back in november/december...But i get this feeling from time to time like she's not going to come back.does my dream indicate this in any way?

My girlfriend also dreamt recently that i was together with my ex(which i would never even consider doing)...any relation??

      many thanks

I can't really answer for you whether your girlfriend would come back. If she did not, would you feel as if you'd been hit by a door that knocked your teeth out? Is the relationship that serious to you? If it is, and you have doubts about her plans, you probably need to talk to her! It kind of sounds as if you are both feeling pretty insecure with the separation, and maybe you just need to reassure each other more often.
