      Problem Solving Dreams

Has anyone ever awoken from a dream to find that a problem you'd been grappling with in real life was answered within the dream content or as a consequence of your interpretation of the dream? What was your dream-inspired revelation or discovery?

Yes, all the time! It's one of the reasons I've always been interested in dreams. I've always found them to be quite useful in that regard.

Fairly often, yes. If I go to bed with a problem heavy on my mind, I can usually solve it in my dreams and wake up with the solution firmly in place, clear as day. I'm a web designer and developer, so I love waking up with three lines of CSS in my head that solve all the weird issues I was having with a banner the night before.

That's great! Can you tell me about some of your experiences? How do you incubate the dreams and how often does it work? What sorts of dreams have occurred to lead you to a real-life solution and what were they like?

It's like being able to meditate on something, but you get to do it in your dreams. It's really a nice thing to be able to do!
      ...And then to dream...
