Thread: A hug

Normally, I do not remember many (if any) of my dreams, thus this dream really stood out to me.

I had a girlfriend a couple years ago, and we broke up a few months after first going out. I knew her from middle school, we worked at the school's tv broadcast. Freshman year, we met at homecoming and danced. One thing led to another, and we were soon going out.

I had a little trouble being with her, and I was scared to really make any steps ahead in our relationship because her ex apparently was a bit messed up/perverted.

Time went on, and I quickly realized that the relationship wasn't going to work out. I broke up with her.

That was two years ago. Ever since then, any time we saw each other we just averted our eyes and ignored each other.

Last night, I was amazed that I slept at all, because I was sick. Tylenol is quite the pill.

The beginning and the end of the dreams are just black to me. I have no clue what happened, and usually that's how the rest of my dreams go. Unless I have a WILD, I cannot recall any dream I have. In this special case, all I remember was the part in the middle.

I was walking to lunch, and I saw her. We didn't do the normal 'avert and ignore bit,' but she actually walked up to me. We chatted (idk about what) and all of the sudden she looked sad and hugged me. That's it, just the longest hug imaginable.

The rest I do not remember.

I do not have any feelings for her anymore, and we definitely don't hate each other, but this dream definitely has a message for me. Any help?
