Thread: 4 short dreams + 2 zombie dreams

In my psychology class we did a unit on consciousness and dreaming (I'm disappointed lucid dreaming wasn't taught). Every night for a few weeks we had to take down our dreams and the number of hours we slept as an assignment. I only could ever remember the dreams in one or two words but they seemed to sum up the general mood of the dream well. I tried looking in dream books for the meaning, but surprisingly a sentence isn't vague enough for one of those things.

My first dream was the strangest, and one of the simplest. Basically when I roused from sleep, all I could remember was that in my dream I was contemplating vowels and syllables. Something about every syllable needs to contain at least one vowel. I was going through words and drawing the syllables out in my mind.

Another dream was about gardening. There was an old friend that I've been meaning to apologize to there, and a current friend who has been sick lately.

The next dream I briefly saw a ghost right before the end of the dream. There were no feelings of fear.

The last dream was the one I was hoping on getting an explanation for the most. I was outside my house at the edge of my street. My street is normally busy but there were no cars from either direction. I was not able to cross my street. It seemed physically impossible. That was it. The irony is, I live on "Cross Street". Hehe.


Also, while I am here I'd like to tell my two zombie dreams I had recently. They were fun!

Zombie dream 1: Three or four friends and I were accepted for a reality TV show that took place in the abandoned half of the mall (the other half was still a functioning mall). We were to survive a zombie invasion in this abandoned mall. There were explicit rules we were to follow though. The electricity was out in our half of the mall. We let an over pompous person (which the rest of us do not really like) take leadership of the group. He preceded to break one of the rules and take us to the populated side of the mall where another friend spotted us. The makeshift leader was kicked off the show, and we happily returned to fighting zombies.

Zombie dream 2: I was in a large group which was well-armed, but there were not enough weapons to go around. Many of these people were my friends. I came up with a plan to evade zombie attacks, by hiding in a dark place and being as still as possible. According to my dream logic, zombies have horrible hearing. The closest friend out of those I knew decided this was the worst idea on the planet and was very angry for me going through with this. The group left me, and I hid. Eventually a zombie crept in and I hurriedly ran off from it, returning to the large group.
