Thread: unusual dreams while pregnant..any advice please?

Hi people. Its 4am,just woken after a strange dream. I am in reality 16wks pregnant and my dreams have been total fantasy for a few weeks. Tonight however,a bit different. In the space of a 2hr sleep period the following happened (pls excuse no paragraphs as I am using wifi on mobile phone) : I lived at my current house with my partner of 5 years. My little boy was not in my dream. Everything was my house,inside and out. My partner called me into the bedroom,said take a look outside..looked out the window and there were 2 large tigers playing,but lying down on the field outside. He shouted to shoo them off and they got up and ran to the woods we both agreed it was very odd..next thing one of the neighbours walked up the drive. i shouted get in quick,tigers! She ran. The tigers came out the woods and chased her. I remember thinking I hope shes ok. Then I turn to my partner and he has changed..he is now my ex. I wasnt shocked,its like I didnt notice! My ex was the first real love,we were together for 6yrs. All was ok at first but after a yr he got physically abusive,mostly after a drink. Although he was not an alcholic. I loved him so much and even in normal life he still crosses my mind. I know it was bad,im not rose tinted glasses. Anyway,we started talking about why we split up,what happened etc and why he hurt me. All that time he was holding my unborn child (I was no longer pregnant) but he knew it wasnt his. I remember he started crying,saying he never meant to hurt me so much and that he has never stopped loving me. At this point I knew that I was dreaming so now maybe I controlled the fact he held me tight,crying. Next thing I know,my 5yr old is waking me up to go to the toilet. Help me pls,now I cant sleep as that was strange. Why tigers? I live in england,never seen a real one! Why did my partner become my ex? And why did I dream of him? Thank you so much x
