      spider bites

      In the past month I've had 3 dreams in which I get bit by a spider. Once on the thigh, once on the forearm and once on the hand. In each dream I spend a majority of the time trying to extract the poison from the bite, by sucking on it or squeezing it or whatever and each time by the end of the dream the bite is nearly healed. I haven't figured out what this means. Any thoughts on spiders, bites or poison extraction?

      An unrelated interesting side-note: Last week I dreamed I had a long needle suck into the right side of my neck and coming out the left. This week I came down with strep throat and realized that the dream may have been precognitive.

      Hello Jessica!

      I've had 2 seperate incidents involving spiders while asleep. One time I was actually bit by a spider (just behind my knee) while sleeping...I was in a sleeping bag on the ground. The second time I had awoke from a dream to find a Granddaddy Long Legs crawling "out" of my mouth...its leg(s) was tickling my nose as it was climbing out...fortunatetly I didn't panic and just picked it up and put it outside, but I wound up brushing my teeth several times before I had breakfast.

      But if it's any consolation, spider bites in real life are very few and far between.
