My Reoccuring Dream

Starting in Grade 8, I've been having these dreams a lot! It's me being chased by a shadow figure throughout my childhood neighbourhood. When I was a kid, me and my friends always used to have races to see who could run faster, I'd almost always win too. In my dream, the shadow figure is chasing me through my neighbourhood, except I'm moving in slow motion, like my legs seem to never go faster than a jogging pace, hard to explain. The shadow figure has never caught me yet though, another weird thing about it is, my environment is in sepia(sky, grass ect.) Everything else is brown. And somehow at the end of the dream, when I'm about to wake up, I find myself trying to escape in a sewer pipe kind of thing, except I never move in it, I try to move through it, but however much my legs move, I'm always in the same spot. At this point the figure is chasing me, and I never can get the courage to look behind me to see if it's getting closer, I only know that the figure is going to try to hurt me. This dream has happened countless times, it's really annoying, what do?

Ive had similar reoccurring dreams involving zombies overpowering me. id feel helpless and right when they are about to sink their teeth into me I either wake myself up(which is really annoying) or make them disappear and change the dream setting. I'm no expert but I usually make them disappear just by wishing for it to happen.

I had similar draems but they were before I was 5 years old.The shadowy figure is the great big unknown world,you are facing and you cant rweturn to your cozy child hood nop more it isnt safe,even so you try the ultimate which is running into a sewer pipe which which basically is going back to the womb.but even that isnt gonna save you cuz the world is hot on your ass., the slow motion is a symbol for how you feel about getting along (fear), but you have nothing to fear the world is not gonan do anything to you except use you up and spit you out if you let it.just remeber the chase for material gains is in the end not the most important thing ,to have enough to lve in youer level of desire (simple or ?) is enough.do not starin yourself bustingg a nut to get aherad cuz it aint that great and not much different anyways. one rich man has two dogas he keeps them in a wire kennel and rarely pays them heed ,used mostly for alarm and protwection.another man as 2 dogs they are with him allways when he is home even sleeps in bed with ghim and he gives them affection and dogs are happy, so which dogs is better off the ruich dogs or the not so rich dogs?

This shadow figure is interesting. Who does this figure remind u of? What does it look like, describe it. How old are u now? What was ur relation with father? Especially early in childhood. Some questions which will help to understand dream better.

Shadow figures represent dark parts / faces of yourself. Try to have a lucid dream and dream with the shadow again. Instead of fleeing from it, stop and ask, "Who are you? What do you want?' Probably it has a message to deliver to you, and your recurring nightmare will end. stormcrow try to talk with them or their leader, for sure they will answer. It might sound crazy but your responses are within your minds.
