Need a dream to be interpreted?

I just woke up from a dream a few minutes ago. I remember being in my parents room trying to search for one of my shirts because I was about to go some where, And it was pitch dark in their room. I couldn't see a thing. I've been trying to search for a shirt in my parents closet. I don't know why. And suddenly I saw The Grim Reaper aka Death looking at me at their door. He just stood there looking at me searching for something then he grabbed me and I tried to resist and he tried to drag me off out of then room and I woke up. This was a creepy dream I've experienced. I woke up scared shitless and when a few minutes passed I felt like a new person. Anyone know what this dream could of mean? He didn't physically drag me but he tried to. He just grabbed my arm making it look like he did and I woke up.

I don't think that your encounter with death personified has to mean that death is supposed to come your way. If anything (and this is my best guess) this dream has to do with the idea (and fear) of losing one's parents, or someone that you may feel close to and even somewhat dependent on. Your need to be in their room searching for something can be symbolic of "needing" them in general, either emotionally or for the material needs (or both) that you require to live a comfortable life. Death grabbing you and dragging you out of the room can mean some kind of separation from your parents is imminent or at least on your mind in some way. It can mean that death will literally separate you (ei: death of parents) or that the "death" of your relationship is approaching. By that I don't mean that you sever ties, but that the stage of adolescence under the roof of your parents will be coming to a close, or, again, something that you've given some amount of thought to. [edit] There's another possibility that your parent's room can represent your sense of security, and that something in your life is making you feel less safe.

In tarot Death often symbolizes the end of something, usually without anything actually dying. So perhaps an aspect of your relationship with your parents may be changing, or something like that. The business with the shirt, which is worn outwardly, could be you searching in what your parents have taught you for some aspect of your personality. Death is wanting you to leave that old way of doing things in favor of another. However, since he didn't successfully get you into another room (the room maybe representing a particular realm of influence), it seems you may still have some choice in the matter.
