LUCID DREAM
This is possibly my last entry in this journal, since I've started a notebook one. Anyway, I've had a lucid dream something like 10 minutes long today.
I was lying on the sofa in the living room and was looking at the balcony, that was different than in real life. I saw a lamp post swinging with the strong wind, and almost hitting the window. It was swinging in a very weird way, like it was made of rubber. Then it started to approach the window, and then I realized it is a dream. I stood up and saw my grandma in the kitchen. The images were very detailed but not very clear. I felt as if there's something in my eyes that keeps everything blurry, like you know, it happens shortly after you wake up in real life... I blinked a couple of times and it became clearer but only for a second, and it became somewhat blurry again. I didn't want to clean my eyes with my fingers because I was afraid it might wake me up.
Anyway, I've decided that I should make a reality check just in case. I approached the wall and tried to make dents in it. I suceeded making deep trails in it with my fingers, as if it was made of clay. Now assured that I'm dreaming, I went to my mom's bedroom, so that my grandma wouldn't see me attempting to do weird things. I tried to break the window to go outside, but I couldn't do it - it seemed that the glass was some kind of membrane that stretched as far as my fist would go, and didn't let me through, no matter how hard I tried to break through it. Determined, I then turned to the other, larger window in the room, took a running start and jumped at it, feet first. At first the membrane resisted, but as I struggled and pushed harder and eventually passed through it to the other side (I think it wasn't even damaged in the process), and landed in the yard. It seemed that I didn't even fall, as if the window was on the ground floor, while in reality it's on the third (in the dream I thought it was supposed to be the second).
Then I tried flying, but only managed to hover, and even that barely. I then closed my eyes and imagined the surroundings drop down, and myself going through the air. When I opened my eyes I was around 15 meters in the air, slightly above the level of the building's roof next to me, but as soon as I've opened my eyes I started to descend back to the ground. I gave up on flying, and decided to have some fun with driving. I looked around and approached the closest car in the parking lot (which IS the yard of my building). It was a pretty strange and cool color, a golden red... like, a mix between gold and red (reddish gold maybe?). It also might have been a Renault, but I'm not sure. Anyway, I open the unlocked door. I think how I'm going to start it, and then I simply pull the keyes out of my pocket (the first time I managed to create an object in a LD!! Well, I never tried it before...). I don't have a driving license in real life, by the way. I started the car and try to turn it around, but I accidently smashed into another parked car. Whoops! I then pulled a reverse and turned the car to the exit.
So I drive out of the parking lot, which was suddenly full of cars trying to get in and out, including a friend of mine who was driving an unfamiliar car (no the Volvo he has in real life), and he said to me "congratulations on the new car" or something like that, before I pulled out of the parking lot and started to drive on the street (if I've been driving there in real life in the same direction, I would've actually been against the traffic, seeing that the road is omnidirectional, but it seemed of no concern in the dream). A police car drove in the opposite direction, lights flashing (no sound though, they do this often in real life), and I wondered if they would stop me because of the wrecked front, but they didn't. I was driving some more, struggling with shifting gears because the handle was too short. Another friend of mine was suddenly in the car, and we talked about stuff. Then I thought to myself, why am I driving like a good boy, I can speed up and do whatever I want! But before I could do it, I had to stop for some reason I no longer remember.
So I stop the car smack in the middle of the road, and get out. My friend is telling me something but I'm bored, so I approach a nearby parked car, a relatively small one, and try to lift it. I lift its front, then I raise the front more and more, and the higher I raise the car, the harder it becomes (obviously, since its harder to push something over from the center than from the tip). I struggle a bit, and finally flip the car over without too much effort.
Then some guy, apparently the owner of said car, comes out of the house nearby. He didn't seem infuriated or something, but it was pretty obvious he wanted to hurt me for doing that. So I laugh in his face, saying something like "what can you possibly do to a guy who has the strength to lift cars??", then he's starting to pull something out of his jacket, and I wonder if this is going to be a gun or a knife, expecting some more fun. Instead, the guy pulls out... a couple of tiny rocks he strikes them together, what produces a tiiiny spark that falls on me, and then he throws these rocks on me and says "HA!", and I like, WTF is this guy for real? So I wanted to demonstrate some of my might, and I've decided now it's a good time to try energy shooting. I waved my hand towards his house, trying to ignite it or something, but nothing happened. It pissed me off a bit, so I approached another car, a yellow one, bigger than the previous one, and flipped it over as well. It was a lot easier now since I was lifting it from the side and not the front.
I think at that point I approached the guy, who kept annoying me with threats, I think (I can hardly remember a thing he said), and kind of dropped him flat on the ground with a slight push. Then his little son, maybe 4 years old, possibly younger, comes running from the house entrance to his father and says something like "please don't hurt my daddy". I replied something like "baaah shut up, I won't do anything to your daddy if he doesn't do anything stupid".
Then I think I stepped aside to talk about something with my friend, the one who was in the car with me before. I noticed that he cut his hair very short (it is shoulder length in real life), and this haircut didn't fit him and looked ugly as hell Then that guy stood up and approached the car... which by now transformed somehow into a large motorcycle and says that he's going to take the bike from me or something like that, as his next attempt to "hurt" me. By this point, I had the impression that he's half-joking in everything he did so far. I tell him "go ahead, I don't care, it's stolen". The prospect of taking a stolen bike quickly dissuaded him (it makes no sense since it would've become stolen the moment he took it without permission, but anyway...)
Then, something intersting happened. My friend and maybe also that guy asked me what the heck happened that I'm acting like that, stealing and ruining things, while usually I'm a law-abiding citizen. They took a few guesses I don't remember. Anyway, I told them that the REAL reason that I do that it's because it's a dream. I was really wondering how they're going to react, since from what I've read from other's experiences dream characters usually deny that and it's nearly impossible to persuade them. But their reply was something like "oh" and "OK fine". Then me and my friend started to walk away from there, and I, in my curiosity, asked him whether he believed me that this is a dream. He doesn't answer. I repeat the question, but he still doesn't answer, and I know why - I'm starting to wake up. I didn't resist the process much at first since I didn't know what to do, but then I remembered some of the techniques and shouted "increase lucidity!" but I didn't even hear myself. I then felt myself lying in the bed. My eyes were closed and I didn't see anything. I still shouted "increase lucidity" and obviously didn't hear myself (since I could hear what's happening in real life), but my real mouth didn't move, even though I could still "feel" my dream mouth shouting. I've kept trying some more but I've realized I've started it too late, and I won't be able to come back into the dream, so I've shortened the inevitable process by jerking myself awake.
