Thread: Valo's journey into the ridiculous

This first post will be to catch up with where I am today. I'm going to go ahead and convert my written journal to the net.

April 13th '05
A short dream. Driving my band's van through our local mall's parking lot. Many passengers, but none that I recognized. The general mood was light.

April 14th '05
My band was on tour with another local band around here called "familiar". We're at a mall in the town of lexington KY. a news story comes on in an electronics department, and the top story is about us. Appearantly we're "immigrating"?? and that's bad. The mab on the news shows our tour pattern thus far. We think we're in trouble. To top it off, we also think we've killed someone important....although i don't know who that is. We know we need to get to our home town fast, but it's an hour and a half trip. Then Mike (our drummer) says that we can easily make the trip in about 20-30 minutes if we do 90mph. I woke myself with laughter.

It was raining and I saw an unknown girl running from a large brick building.

This night i just saw three brief images.

In a large house filled with zombies. Video game style "weird" zombies. I escaped to a boat dock and got into a speed boat. I used the boat to chase the zombies "leader". I was ambushed. then i woke up.

April 21st '05
At a place where many people sleep in a common room, yet other people have private rooms (not sure of the place). My friend Jade is the only person I recognize. There is trouble...A guy I don't know wants to fight me. He wrecklessly chases me with lighter fluid of some kind. getting just as much on himself as me. He corners me and throws a zippo lighter at me, but I dodge and it bounces off a wall and catches him on fire. I feel cocky and act as if I meant that to happen. I wind up sitting at a table with Jade and a guy in a bear suit. Then I'm back in the mall parking lot. I became Lucid for the first time, but woke up upon this realization.

Watching a vhs tape with our old trombone player Jake on it. He plays an amazing solo. I feel excited and very happy to be watching it.

April 24th '05
I'm attending a film school. I'm sharing a dorm with typical jock-type meatheads. There is an unknown love interest. I befriend a Tiny alien.

April 25th '05
I'm at an indoor soccer arena. Many people are around. A game starts and I'm playing. I pick up a girl (probably in her late teens) and use her to hit the soccer ball as opposed to using my own feet. I don't know the girl, but i'm having a great time. Matty (one of my trombone players) is there cheering. I saw a bird that changed into a duck. Then I went to a dinosaur museum. I was happy until i arrived and realized that it was a horrible museum with no budget. It made me sad.

April 26th '05
I see the Skyline of my hometown over top of the cinema where Chad (my guitar player) works. Bam Margera and the CKY crew came to my hometown and Mike and I met them and hung out. A series of indoor/outdoor adventures take place but sadly i lost them in the translation from my dream to paper. They left the next day. I remember seeing a guy I know named timmy.

April 27th '05
I buy an old Mini Cooper. I'm driving it through a suburb when one of the twins from mtv's I want a famous face (the kids who wanted to look like brad pitt) Kicked a dent in my cooper. I was pissed. I then drove to the mountains of eastern KY (i have no idea why) and I wind up losing control and wrecking it. once again, I was pissed.

April 29th through May 3rd '05
Was on tour with the band and didn't keep track of my dream journal.

May 4th '05
In a large cargo van in a parking garage. Guys are shooting at me and I'm not sure why. One guy runs out of ammo and gets in the van and I wrestle his gun away from him. I use the empty gun to con another guy into dropping his gun.

It's around this time that I begin to think that the guys in my band are a good dreamsign. I see them in my dreams often.

May 5th through may 7th '05

May 8th '05
In a large mall. The environment is that of a large birthday party. I met Ashlee Simpson (of all people...ugh) and we hit it off. The party is going to move to another place and I'm supposed to meet her there. On my way there a guy hits my vehicle head on and then drives away. But when the police show up they catch him hiding in a nearby garage. I get a phone call telling me that Matty has died. I go to the location but I never confirm that he is truly dead. Suddenly I'm falling. I realize that I'm dreaming and I slow the decent of the fall. As I'm slowing the decent I wake up.

May 11th '05
Riding in a car with mike and his ex g/f nina at night. We go offroad and the car is heading down hill. We're all expecting a horrible wreck, but a tree stops us. We carefully get out of the unstable car. I find a dirtbike and ride off. Riding through my hometown. It's rainy and it's muddy almost everywhere. At some point I realize that I can lift the bike with one hand. Then i'm lying in my bed looking at one of those cd books that you keep in your car to transport your cd's with you. I See a black and pink cd that reads "The best of Judas Priest". Then I look on top of my stereo and There is a HE-MAN toy squirting water all over the place. Then I woke up.
