7-19-06 (don't remember an actual date, but it just came back to me today)
I was on vacation with my dad. All I remember is driving around in his car and missing our turn somewhere and kinda getting lost.

7-20-06
I got on a roller coaster car with my gf and mom. It started out slow but then kept getting faster and higher. I remember at one point looking up and seeing the track rise vertically for hundreds of feet before coming back down in a corkscrew. It was by far the best/scariest coaster I had ever been on. When we got off of it I made some comment about it being a lot of fun, but not something I would ever want to do again.

I was riding down the street on something when all of a sudden I just realized I was dreaming. I take a minute to look around me and clarify things. I told myself that I needed to be doing important stuff to help me LDing abilities, but I couldn't remember what I wanted to do so I went about my business. I tried to make people appear in front of me, but that didn't work, so I told myself that RG would be behind me if I turned around. I turned around and saw a woman there, but it wasn't her. I tried to use my powers of dream control to turn her into someone else, but it just wouldn't work. Suddenly it kinda blacked out and I was having sex for a minute or two, then again and I was outside. I lost lucidity at this point, otherwise I wouldn't have bothered with this next part. I had to get to work or something, so I decided to grab this wooden bicycle/car thing. It was hard to get going at first but once I got going it was actually pretty fast and easy to use. I remember racing somebody else and then ending up in a parking garage somewhere with a lot of people I knew.

7-25-06
I was on a family vacation with my parents, sister, and one brother. We were going to visit my brother and sister-in-law. I remember being cramped in the back of the van. We got there and got out to see them. We were going to go inside, but they were worried about me seeing my birthday present. We went somewhere with them and then came back for the night.

I was teaching my gf how to play poker and doing magic tricks. The only reason I remember this is because I was using some of the nice cards I got from my good poker set, normally I just use some crappy old ones unless I'm really playing. Somehow they ended up all over the place and I was worried about them getting ruined.

I was in my old high school and there were two gangs of mutants/superheroes. We all had crazy powers and a fight broke out amongst us. I started beating the crap out of the evil people and throwing them out the 3rd-floor windows. For some reason I realized I was dreaming but I just went on with the story. It was a lot of fun throwing people out of windows (especially people from my high school). This one actually went on for a couple minutes but I forgot most of it due to it being one of the earlier dreams I had.

I was in my high school again after waking up and falling back asleep. This time I was walking down the hall and everything was peaceful. I thought to myself that this was just like the last dream and I haven't been there for months so I must be dreaming again. I wanted to try flying so I got a running start and jumped through a closed window (with no glass breaking) and soared up over a tree. Everything looked so real and awesome from my point of view, but for some reason I wasn't able to control my flight very well. I did a loop and tried rubbing my hands together to keep myself in the dream but it didn't work. When I came back down from the loop I lost the dream.

I don't know what I did yesterday, but it worked. I could have to do with the fact that I got about 11 hours of sleep. Normally I don't seem to remember any vivid dreams until I've slept for 9 1/2 hours or more so that would explain why I had so many. But the fact that I actually became lucid in them I would have to attribute to what I did yesterday. I turned on my BWGEN on the Self Hypnosis 2 preset and told myself over and over for a few minutes that I would have vivid lucid dreams. Also, right before I went to bed, I put it on the Sleep Induction 1 preset and listened for 20 minutes which really tired me out.

7-26-06
I was going to lunch in my old high school. I got there a little late and my gf was already sitting down eating. I wanted to go get my food but saw that the lunchlady was already putting everything away. I hurried over and got whatever crap was left (just like real life&#33 and sat down. On the other side of the room there was a table with a bunch of other guys. One of them (which resembled NN, a jerk I knew from middle school) started yelling stuff over at us. I picked up a handful of grapes and thought about throwing them but changed my mind. GG came over and sat by us and tried to be nice. The other guy kept yelling crap at us so I ran over and dropkicked him in the face. He just fell to the floor and nobody did anything about it so I went back over to eat my lunch. Before I could do that our lunch break was over.

8-1-06
I was going down the street to the house where I babysit 2 kids at. As I walked up to the driveway, both kids came flying out of the garage driving cars. The parents were there still but I tried to get in to stop them. They drove off before I got a chance to jump in the window. At some point I said to myself that this was obviously a dream, but quickly forgot about it because of the situation. I got into my car (which was already at their house for some reason. I had a feeling that they were headed to the carousel, so I went there and of course I was right.

I hate almost becoming lucid....I guess it's still progress

8-3-06
I was at my old high school at the bottom of the stairs going into the lunch room. I just had the feeling that this was a dream, so I started back up the stairs without really having anything in mind to do. As soon as I moved, my body just collapsed onto the floor and I blacked out.

Later I found myself in the cafeteria, sitting with a few of my friends, I wasn't lucid anymore.

Once again, I hate almost becoming lucid...

Wow, I can't believe it's been this long since I posted here. College just started for me and things have been really busy. I haven't been recording my dreams but I have been making note of them and going over them in the morning if I remember anything.

I was in some kind of army training with some other friends. Our last training session was in this small rooom playing some kind of video game. It was funny because the drill sargent was so serious about it: "You bet your ass this isn't a joke." On the screen was a small boat on the shore of the ocean and the goal was to keep it from drifting too far out or something.

I was back with one of my ex-girlfriends. I used to live by her and for whatever reason I was there again. We were both very happy to see each other and we began kissing and stuff. I wanted to do more but it seemed like she kept disappearing and reappearing somewhere else in the house.

8-27-06
I walked into a store that used to be called Sports World. On my way in I passed Matt, a guy a met from playing YGO. Apparently this was Jordan's (another guy from YGO) business he started. He had offered me a job and I was coming in to see what it was all about. I remember seeing Larry the Cable Guy (which probably prompted my next dream). Then I was sitting outside on office on the floor, writing dates and times on the bottom of a door with a pen.

I was in my old house in the dining room, which apparently doubled as a stage. The audience was seated in lawn chairs outside across the street and somehow I was talking through the wall and closed windows. It was my first act as a stand-up comedian and I had just been told minutes before that I would be doing this. I tried to think of all the jokes and things I had made up but none of them were coming back to me. I finally came up with story: "So this one summer when I was 8, me and my friends were going to ride down the road to the ice cream place. They all got on their bikes and skateboards and all I was left with was a sled." Like anything else I would say, there was complete silence from the audience. A couple people would smile but that was it, so I tried to save myself: "And let me tell you what...if you're ever riding a sled in the middle of the summer, you'd better make sure you're wearing your snowsuit. Not for snow, for safety. I took a running start and jumped onto my sled. Long story short, the sled stayed there and I went down the hill on my stomach." After trying to think of some more stories for a few moments I just concluded with telling my audience "I'm sorry to tell you this, but you're my first audience and I was just told moments before that I would be up here so I was not prepared at all." I turned around and my family was sitting at the kitchen table staring at me, waiting to eat and wondering what the hell I was doing talking to the wall."

8-30-06
I was in some kind of superhero movie/game. Most of the characters were from the X-Men, but there were a few I didn't recognize. This all took place in my hometown on the main street. I remember playing the part of a few different characters, at least one of them was a woman (Jean Grey). There were two evil mutants there, one of them being what appeared to be Magneto. They were trying to collect the power of all the mutants together into one super-mutant that would be unstoppable. I tried flying away a couple times but didn't get to terribly far. I got better as the dream went on. It was just a matter of running and jumping into the air and striking a Superman-ish pose. The last time I tried to fly off, my arm hit a powerline as I flew by. I then saw things in third person as my character's arm began flashing like an x-ray (like in cartoons) and they fell to the ground.

9-1-06
I was at home (I think) with some girl. She was doing everything to try to get me to have sex with her, but for some reason I just kinda pushed her away until finally I reluctantly accepted. She wasn't bad looking, but she certainly wasn't anywhere near the most beautifu girl I've ever seen. Right after the dream ended, when I was halfway between being asleep and awake I realized I had been dreaming.

I was playing poker with a couple of my new college friends. I think we were supposed to be playing texas hold'em except that I had five cards in my hand instead of two. We were playing with chips with 25 cents a piece and I must've had at least a couple dollars worth at the start of the hand. Before the flop, one guy raises it by 50 cents. After the first three cards are flipped, the same guy that made the bet the first time raised it even more. After the fourth card is flippped, he pushes all in. K quickly calls it and I take a minute to look at the board. I had a full house with 7s and nines. I then realize that nothing he could have could beat me so I call with my lasts $1.50. I end up winning the hand, but my chip stack was smaller than before. They start to deal another hand and I say "WTF I should have more than 3x what I had before that hand." So the one guy that was doing all the betting hands me some of my chips that he took, still not nearly enough to cover what I would've won.

9-5-06
I was sitting in my room looking browsing through the newspaper when I came across an ad for a 'Pirate Poker Night.' Liking both poker and pirates, I decided to go to it. I talked my friends Joe and Gary into going to it with me, even though they never played poker before. We got there really early and talked to two women that were setting the place up. Joe recognized them from somewhere and asked them about YGO tournaments. I of course was intrigued to find out that there were some I didn't know about that he was going to. It was going to cost $17 to play and started at midnight. We sat down to play and it wasn't any kind of poker I had ever seen. They claimed it was Texas Hod'em, but it wasn't. Each person was dealt one facedown card and one faceup card and then two facedown cards. The first two cards were considered your pocket and the others didn't seem to mean anything. After you saw your pocket cards, you would place a white chip into the pot if you wanted to play and then would use red or blue chips to bet later on. I was so confused and nobody seemed to want to explain what was going on to me. There were only about 8 people that showed up and I was getting really pissed because I was in last place. Some person who wasn't playing finally told me that this was the way these people played over in Europe, so I tried even harder to understand what was going on so I could beat them at their own game.

9-6-06
I was sitting with a girl playing some video game. She looked like Lee but reminded me of Caci. I think it was something like Raiden or Galaga, airplane shooting games. All of a sudden my ex-gf walks up and starts giving me shit about something. The girl I was with comes in and starts yelling at her for being a bitch to me to begin with.

9-7-06
I was in some place that I didn't recognize. I was with a somewhat older woman (of course for me that means like 25-30) was sitting on a bed with me. She started trying to do stuff with me and I reminded her that she was supposed to be getting married to someone else soon. She said as long as we didn't have sex it wouldn't be considered cheating. Long story short, I didn't argue with her.

I think what sparked this dream was a neighbor that was telling me about a girl he was trying to get with who was trying to get a girl to cheat on her bf with him

I haven't updated since I started college. Since then I stopped having much recall if any, which I blame mostly to getting less sleep and being awoken by an alarm clock. Once I was able to start sleeping in my recall improved greatly.


12-17-06
I walked into the Gamestop and up to the counter where a girl was working. I asked her how many Wiis they were going to have tomorrow. She said 4 but then changed her mind and said 9. I started walking out and my girlfriend was at my side. I overheard a few comments from guys in the store about how beautiful she was.

*Lucid Experience*
I was being chased around a castle-like place by an old witch lady. Suddenly I realized I was dreaming and had nothing to worry about. I turned around and tried making a weapon appear. I looked down to my left hand but nothing was there. I tried again but nothing came. I gave up on that and started charging up the stairs at her.

12-19-06
I was back at college. There was a My Chemical Romance concert one night that I wanted to go to but wasn't sure if I should since it was late at night in the middle of the week. My friends convinced me to go with them anyways. The show was on what looked like the basketball court and I was sitting in the front row. I was singing along with some of their songs and as the night went on, people started leaving quickly. I wasn't going to leave yet because I still wanted to hear a certain song. [update 3/6/07: I just went to one of their concerts last weekend. My girlfriend had bought me tickets otherwise I wouldn't have gone. We didn't know they were coming until a month or two after this dream took place. It was in a place that was used for sporting events also and I was sitting very close to the front.]

I was sitting at my computer when a message from a girl pops up, "That place seems a lot smaller now." Looking back on it, I have no idea what she was referring to and it really didn't make any sense. For some reason I connected it with the dorms I am living in. The first thing that popped into my mind was: "Oh shit, was this some ugly girl I got drunk and messed around with behind my girlfriend's back and don't remember now?" I went outside to see the girl and it turned out she actually looked pretty good, she had a strong resemblence to my girlfriend but was definitely a different person. We walked around and talked about what happened. She told me about how we had gone back to my place a few nights before and were going to have sex but the guys down the hall from me complained to the RA about how my girlfriend was always sleeping there. I told her how I had no idea what she was talking abouut but I definitely recognized her face. We got back to her dorm, which looked a lot like my aunt and uncle's cabin in the mountains.

12-20-06
I was running around what seemed like a prison. I think I witnessed some kind of crime going on and one of the guys caught me. They put me in a room and had someone outside keeping watch over me. For some reason I figured I would be in there for awhile so I decided to start keeping track of the days. I had a bottle of 100 vitamins with me so I figured I could count the number of days I had been in there by the number I had left. The only problem was I was eating them too fast.

Yeah, it didn't make sense to me either...

12-21-06
I somehow got stuck taking care of two dogs. I took them outside what I thought was my house but it looked completely different. I was playing fetch with them and like 3 more showed up. I was starting to get kind of worried that one of them was going to attack me.

I had the song Rescue by Eve 6 playing on my stereo. My brother and sister were in the room too and started saying talking about it and saying it didn't make any sense.

12-26-06
I was trying to return something I got as a gift to a store and they weren't taking it so I was arguing with the lady there.

I was listening to a song about zombies and my girlfriend walked in so I was explaining to her what it was about.

I went to my girlfriend's house and was going to go on a trip with her and her family. I showed up at night and fell asleep and then met her dad for the first time the next morning.

I was in a school (I assumed it was my old high school but it wasn't). I needed to go to the bathroom but when I walked in everything was really nasty. People had crapped in all the urinals (which was a reference to my favorite South Park episode) and I could barely stand to be in there.

12-27-06
I was off on a treasure hunt around my old hometown. Apparently there were millions of dollars hiding somewhere around my old gradeschool. Throughout the dream I kept thinking of the movie National Treasure. Me and my brother were working together but somehow two other guys found out about it and were trying to beat us to it. I remember we found the treasure, but didn't take it at first, I think it was because so many other people were around. We came the next night when everybody was gone. The only problem was that the other two guys showed up right after us and demanded we show them the treasure. They looked just like the bad guys from the movie Home Alone. We tried to fight them but they had weapons so we showed them. We opened up a drain pipe where it was supposed to be hidden but nothing was there. At first I was very confused but then I saw a secret compartment. I told them that somebody else must have taken it. I then gave one of the guys a hug and said "well it's been quite an adventure but it looks like nobody gets anything." They left and we waited awhile as their car drove off out of sight. We kept waiting, thinking they may just go around the block or come back later to see if we were still there. As we waited, the rest of my family appeared out of nowhere and we told them about the treasure and how rich we were going to be. We then went back to get the treasure. I opened the secret compartment and all that was there was a bunch of scraps of paper. I was very pissed, I didn't know what to say. We appeared back at home where I examined the papers further. Two of them had names and a date written on them. We figured out that those must've been other people who had gone in search of the treasure just to find it missing. So I took one of the blank pieces and wrote our names and the date and put them all back.

12-28-06
I was at my brother's apartment and we decided to play poker. It was me, him, ,his roommate, and my sister. I ended up beating everybody but his roommate said he would give me the money he owed my later. I was hungry so I walked across the street to a Subway-like place. I realizezd I didn't have any money because he hadn't paid me yet so I couldn't get anything. We started heading back and for some reason I needed someone's keys so the roommate's girlfriend offered me hers. When I went to pick them up they were very heavy because there were tons of keychains attached to them. I just gave up on whatever I was planning on doing. By that point a bunch of other people had shown up and were standing around in the parking lot.

College keeps getting in the way of my dreams and me coming here, so I'm going to try harder now and write more often in my dream journal. I the past few weeks I have had 2 lucid experiences but I don't remember exact details now.

3-6-07
I was at the theme park Worlds of Fun with my family. This place (I associate all theme parks with this place when I dream about them) seems to come up quite often in my dreams. It was night, which usually seems to be the case when I'm dreaming and I wanted to go on the roller coasters. I went up to one called The Boomerang and jumped in the front seat. There was absolutely no leg room and I suddenly realized why no one else had picked that seat. That scared me but I think I went ahead and rode it anyways. Next I wanted to go on the Mamba, a very tall and fast coaster. For some reason there weren't actual trains, people just drove their car onto the tracks. I got in the back of my Jeep, my dad was driving and my sister was in front. I was scared because there seemed to be a traffic jam at the top of a big drop and I figured we would hit all the other cars at the bottom. I looked at the track and couldn't figure out how the cars stayed on it so I got really nervous.
