Well, I cannot remember ever lucid dreaming before, but I am very interested in the subject and am going to attempt it. So I'm keeping this journal of my dreams to improve my dream recall. I'll write the dreams down in a notebook and occasionally paraphrase them into a reply to this thread.

Here are the only two dreams I've had which I can remember right now, probably because they were very traumatic for me.

1.) About long time ago, I had a dream where I was wandering out on some rocks by the ocean. The rocks were not high, but the ocean floor was VERY far away. The water was dark dark blue, you couldn't see anything, and the sky was gray. There were also huge rocks near and far away that sort of blocked perception. I didn't feel very aware of anything but the immidiete environment.
Then my little brother, who was only 7 at the time, ran out to find me on the rocks. He was very good at going over them and eventually he came to a big one with me that was under an overhanging rock. Then somehow he slipped and fell in, and he couldn't swim because he had hated the swimming lessons! So I jumped in, and I swam towards him but I couldn't catch him. I swam so hard, and his hand was just out of reach, it was the most horrible feeling I've ever had. And I couldn't even think how I would tell my mom.

2.) The first semi-sexual one, when I was a little kid. I can't remember when it was exactly, but because so much of the setting was in my elementry school, I assume I was in the 4th or 5th grade. The details are vague, but the greek goddess Athena appeared in the dream, and I swore myself to her and became her servant.
