Thread: The path to lucidity

Decided to give this a try. Hopefully I won't lose my focus

5/25 - NON LUCID

I was driving the down a road that looked similar to one I drive down everyday on my to school. A friend of mine was sitting on the passenger seat. Anyways, when we got to a stop light, there were a lot of cars lined up. Suddenly, they all turned off the road into the grass. I thought they were letting us through but then I looked behind and saw it was a police car. I was wondering why everyone was moving for the police car but I just kept driving forward between all the cars that went offroad to the stop light which had turned green. I look behind me again and the police car had its lights on. I see that he is after me so I quickly turn off road and don't signal or anything. My friend said, "I guess wait here". I didn't know what he meant. I saw the police car ride by and struggling to get off the road, like there was a barrier on the side of the road or something. Eventually it did. 2 people stepped out of the car, they didn't have police uniforms on. I get out of the car. My friend had suddenly disappeared for some reason. I wave to the "cops" down there, and it looks like they wave back but are motioning me to walk down to them. I walked all the way down to the 2 "cops", the distance seemed alot longer then it should of been. Like I was walking in slow motion or something. I remember that as I reached them, they trotted towards me. One of them looked kinda creepy and just said, "I need to see it" I was really confused as I thought most cops asked for some kind of ID. [Oh yeah, I remember that as I was walking down to the car I pulled out my wallet from my back pocket. I guess to have my license ready.] I didn't say anything, and the faces of the cops changed strangely. Suddenly a deep fear grew inside of me, I didn't know what was going on. Then, for some reason, I said "You guys are the murderers from the news!" As I said it, one of them reached out to grab me! At that point, I woke up....

5/26 NON LUCID...somewhat fragmented

I remember standing in my yard right infront of my house. I picked up my basketball and was going to play. I don't remember actually playing, so either I forgot or I lost interest.

Suddenly I'm out in my back yard with an old friend of mine. He says that we are grilling steaks. This seemed very strange as I didn't really understand what was going on. He said they are almost finished but they need to go into the microwave [wtf?]. the hole turned a bright red like it was heating something up.

Next thing I remember, is that I am standing in the kitchen with my father. He says the steak is ruined and melted [hmm...] I don't believe him and told him to give me the steak. He starts to pour the "liquid steak" into the sink. I beg him to stop [for some reason I didn't question any of this atall] but he pours it in. The liquid looked like a brown mush with green spots in it.

At that point I woke up.

I seem to remember analyzing alot of this dream. Of course, I analyzed every point except whether or not this was a dream.
