This first entry will have all my dream recalls up to date:
October 25th, 2006:
I am a teacher wearing a very plain dress, taking kindergarden children to the museum. Many of the people in the museum are staring at me, especially the parents.
I woke up, and then had another dream again right after I wrote this one down.
I am looking for a costume in a costume shop and find a black shirt. However, this black shirt is unavailable, so I go further into the shop to find another costume. I am with my friends, but no one is talking.
November 2nd, 2006:
I am flying with a green staff over a river surrounded by mountains (The location reminds me of a trip my family took to Alaska, where we were on a river boat with mountains on either side of us.) If I drop the staff, I would slowly descend and not be able to fly. However, I only had to sleep and wish for it, and it'll come back into my hands. I am flying around ahead of a large ship with my high school class on it. I see out ahead there is a platoon where anime-style characters are walking around, holding staffs and swords. I drop my green staff a couple of times, but I could always recall it by sleeping in mid-air and wishing for it. I fly back to the ship, and land next to my two best friends. I read a paper that a classmate wrote, but it is terrible and looks like a kindergarden's writing. I get bored, so I fly off again.
(In this dream, I didn't know that I was dreaming. But, I was able to make up some parts of it: I decided that my wings were retractable and I decided that I could recall my green staff if I dropped it. When I woke up, it was possibly the best I've felt in a long time: flying was exhilarating! And even though I dropped my staff a few times, and slowly floated back down, there was no feeling of panic or loss: It was as if I knew I could get the staff back easily, so I was calm and still happy.)
November 11th, 2006:
I am on a volleyball court with my teammates. (I played volleyball in high school) Except, I am blind in my right eye. For the entire game, I sit on the bench, and never actually get to play. However, I am not disappointed. In fact, I am getting bored from watching the game, and so I get out my computer (which comes out of no where), and start to write my paper on "Animals in Literature"(which, in real life, I had a paper on that topic!
November 16th, 2006:
I am fishing with some people I have never seen before.(I remember I thought I was going fishing, and I thought what we were doing WAS fishing, but as you can see from the rest of this dream, I wasn't fishing at all...) We are on the 6th floor of a windowless building. The skies were grey, but it doesn't look like it's going to rain. I am roped together with three other people by the waist. Basically, from observing other teams, we are going to jump out the window (all tied together), and into the water below. I am wearing waterproof clothing, and someone gives me a warm pack to put around my neck. But soon, my warm pack starts to drip with water, as if it was frozen before and is just now defrosting. Then, we decide to retie ourselves, and so we take off the rope. Then, to play a trick on one of my team members, three of us ties ourselves very close to one another. Then, we tie the last team member at the other end of the rope, very far from all of us. We all think it's very funny, but then it is our turn to jump. But then, I mention to the other team members that if we jump, still tied like this, then the three of us that are tied close together would knock into each other. So we untie ourselves again...
Then, I woke up. It was such a weird dream! And all the time, I thought what I was doing was fishing (in fact, I've never fished in my life...) Then, after writing this dream down, I had another dream:
I am on a bus with other high school kids. There is a boy named Brett. (He was a boy in my elementary school, who I haven't seen in 7 years! My memory of this dream is a bit blurry here...) There is a bomb on the bus, and it explodes. I am on the bus, but after the explosion, it is as if I am watching a movie: I wasn't in the bus anymore, I was watching from the side. The bad guys (there were three or four of them, but one main guy), after the explosion, finds two phones on the top of the bus (which looked like it had not just exploded, but it did). Apparently, Brett had left the phones there cleverly. (Though I don't know why it was clever, and what it meant, I just remembered that while in the dream, I understood why and how it was clever.) The bad guys are really angry.
In this dream, when I was seeing the bad guys' reactions to the phones, it seemed like I was looking at the film of a hidden camera in the bushes beside the exploded bus. I remember feeling a bit scared that the guys would find the camera, but I have no idea how I transitioned from being in the bus, to being outside the bus watching a film.
