Alright, well I've got many, many dreams written down in notebooks and such that I've collected over the past 6 months or so. But I'm going to start it fresh on here. Starting with one I just wrote down.

For me this dream wasn't of my average recall, since I stopped practising LD/recall for a while. And it's taken it's toll I think. But here are some very averagely recalled dreams. Hopefully you'll see my improvement over the next few weeks.

      Dream Journal

      Tuesday, 20 February 2007

There are two dreams that I remember here, one was a dream that occurred within the night, one was a dream that occurred after I had woken up and then dozed off.

The first dream was strange and I cannot recall it in its entirety, I do remember something to do with it being a plane and a lot of my friends were there. Brendan, his girlfriends were the people I remember most distinctly. I remember being on a plane for some time, I am unsure of where I was going, but I do remember at one point getting off the plane, with the thought in my head that I had to get back on.

When I was off the plane, there was some kafuffle with what seemed to be related to my ‘Cinema Membership’? I told the girl that was asking me that I hadn’t updated it in a few years, since I’d been away in Europe. (Partially true towards real life, but I was only away for 8 months.) The card was from 2004, she laughed about how old it was…asked where I had gone, and generally she was flirting. I’ve forgotten the next part and how it links. I do remember seemingly being attached to a girl in some manner, (no, I don’t mean physically attached) her and I were a couple, or just good friends I believe. Anyhow, there was some drama surrounding her mother. [Strange interjection here: I seem to have received from information about her mother, from my cousin. I think there may have been more situations I was in that I can’t recall at the moment. Her mother was grossly obese, almost to the point that it wasn’t realistic in the slightest. (Makes me wonder why I didn’t reality check&#33 It was slightly disgusting, but the skin on her stomach was like desert earth, cracked and dry. She seemed tempestuous and devious in her attitude and the way in which she acted. Somehow as if I were a free-moving camera, I saw her place a phone call to her daughter, she said ‘come back home, there’s plenty of food’, yet she said this when she was eating the majority of food in the house. Her daughter seemed instinctively aware of this and replied to the negative in everything her mother was saying to her.

That was the end of that bizarre and fragmented dream (well at least what I can recall.)

The second dream took place after I had woken up and dozed off again, so I was already really tired. (In reality, I had just received a text message from a friend on my phone, the dream had him in it, but in a non-direct way, most likely based off his message just before I fell asleep once more.) The dream was very strange because I was at first in a car, with my parents and brother; we drove past a group of kids my brother identified as people he knew in some way. It seemed that there were two sides, and they were all lining up and talking back at each other in the lead up to a fight. As we past them, I looked out of the back window to see the outcome, and surely enough one boy had punched another boy…and one of them fell over. The next thing I can remember was that I was standing in a hotel room corridor with my brother…we had two rooms, I somehow knew this automatically, or it was just assumed. To my horror and fright inside the dream, I believed that our rooms were in the process of being robbed. However it turned out the cleaners had just ‘ransacked’ the place, and they were now re-cleaning it. (Which didn’t seem odd to me at the time, but as I write this it seems a little strange.) The next thing I know, waiting outside in the corridor for the cleaners to finish, my brother and I had a play-fight. He easily lifted me up (harder for him since he’s a lot younger), he was walking me around as if I weighed nothing. We ended this up, and the next part of the dream is where it really becomes quite abstract. At first I was talking to the friend who had sent me a text message in reality. Except I was talking to him on MSN Messenger, and inside his screen name were lots of McDonald’s adverts…a cup, French fries and a burger. There was a little option inside there that said ‘censor’. I assumed that meant I could censor the adverts and not have to look at the McDonalds icon every time he said something. I told him about how I studied dreams and such, he found it cool…but I also told him that I hadn’t managed to get lucid recently. Annoyingly, I had now convinced my brain that I wasn’t dreaming at all. (I think I might reality check whenever I open a new conversation in MSN Messenger in the future&#33 After this conversation is where the turn for the stranger commences once more.

I found myself outside of where I knew; outside of familiarity…I somehow had an appointment somewhere. I was in a city, or a very large town centre. I found what I was looking for, a small shop that didn’t seem to specialise in anything…except for when I looked into the rear of the shop, I saw a fair few clothes. Thinking back, it looked more like a stall than an entire shop, more of a ramshackle & temporary establishment than a permanent one. Anyhow, the first person I saw was a man of Asian descent. I was weary at the time, because I knew this store had illegal things in it somehow. He was trying to get me to sell drugs for him. (I don’t know why at all! I just remembered that something dodgy was happening.) What he showed me were ‘drugs’ were packets of shiny little things that looked like buttons, but outrageously multi-coloured. In the end it seemed that he wanted to recruit me for something. He handed me a long-sleeved shirt…it was way too large for me, and I said that to him…but he kind of sneered at me and said ‘this is all you get’. I put it on, and surely enough it was far too large for me. But I didn’t say anything else, as I was slightly scared of my surroundings and it’s goings on.

It’s a bit sketchy after that, but I do remember being in the shop, and seeing an actor from reality, who was working in the shop.

Now, this is blatant…but a midget came into the shop, looking like he was wasted. I figured that it was off the strange drugs that were sold at this shop. Apparently people could only come here and get fixed here if they’d done too much. They needed to take some blood…and mix it with someone else’s saliva in order for it to work? (Yes, very bizarre I know…my mind has a habit of that.)

Anyhow, this is where it branches off into a pseudo-Ghostbusters action dream, a lot of people who I can no longer recall (some may have been my friends) were trudging into a field in search of a ghost…a fair few of them had the Ghostbusters packs on and the whole uniform to boot. This field wasn’t familiar at first, but it gained familiarity after the next sequence of events. I turned around sharply…and there was an evil looking ghost, it was apparently an ‘Evil nurse’ ghost. The thing was, we were in a field…and there was a gigantic tree above us, with a huge spread of foliage, adding to the eeriness. That ghost disappeared…and I remember thinking…’Oh no, I’ve got to avoid it’. But then there was another ghost…and we knew we were up against multiple entities. Then when it quietened down, and the ghosts had vanished…we used a ghost-detector (fresh out of the movies&#33 to track them down. There was a ‘huge’ reading near a bush behind us, and as we found it…a gaping yellow whole in the fabric of reality was formed. Everyone shouted…’Oh no! He’s letting the death out’ or something to that effect. All of us, bar the guy with the ghost detector…ran across this field. The field was now a sports field that I recognised as my old school sports field, which is just up the road from me in reality. The group was quite far ahead of me, and I was sprinting as fast as I could to get away from whatever was going to happen.

I looked back…and surely enough a stream of what appeared to be small creatures (dogs I realised soon enough) were pouring out of the yellow portal. The lead creature was a bright blue dog. I was petrified. I scrambled through an awkward gate and ran up past some people. (I didn’t have the decent to warn them, that some evil creatures from another dimension were about to descend upon them, my bad.) I ran down…thinking ‘I’m never going to escape.’ There were a lot of normal dogs around with the group of people I had just past, and I saw the blue dog and a lot of the other ‘death’ creatures coming up to the people. They were blocked from my view, but from what I gather…the death creatures killed the people. This was confirmed by all of the ‘real’ dogs whimpering and running towards the death dogs. They all seemed to ignore each other and not fight.

It was at this point that I was scared so I said ‘ok, this is a dream…I’m going lucid now.’ Instead of having the desired effect, I ‘woke up’ in front of a computer…that was restarting…and thinking that I was actually awake now…I just restarted the computer.

Then I woke up…in reality…thinking…’Oh man, I was never lucid, it was a dream which fell into another dream.’

      Finito.

All of my dreams today were small intermittent dreams that occurred only after I had woken up in the morning and dozed back off.

The first one I can remember was myself, standing outside of an old primary school next to a friend of mine. The strange thing was we were outdoors and there were rows of bunk beds, which made it like an army kind of setup.

I remember there being some guy I recognized from high-school, but not a friend and definitely not someone I'd ever really talked to.

I had a thermos flask in my hand, filled with black tea, I joked to my friend that it was vodka and said 'yeah is good vodka' as I drank down the tea really fast.

I talked to the guy that I had recognized, about his obese cousin or something. (This is true of real life, his cousin was morbidly obese and I wondered what happened to him.)

Eventually a bell sounded and there was an assembly starting to happen, I rushed there, but was still late as I could hear lots of voices emanating from the hall.

I sat down with a group of people who were actually the 'losers' shall we say when it came to high-school (yes the real 'losers&#39 and I was a little annoyed because I couldn't find my friend. One of the guys next to me was saying something like "I will scorch these morons until they cease to exist!" in a fairly nerdy voice. Which I found amusing, and humoured him, by rewording his sentence so that he agreed with me.

Anyhow, a 'feminist' or 'anti-feminist' (I couldn't tell...people had conflicting stories when I asked who she was) was giving a speech. She was at first dressed in a black robe, looking like an old school Principal of a school. Then she sort of morphed into a more friendly, liberally dressed woman with brown hair.

She said she was going to sing a song (oh I forgot to mention I was at the front of the assembly) and she started...it sounded fairly strange...so I shouted "In English please!" and everyone laughed...I couldn't help but smile and realize it sounded fairly rude. But then I said "Oh it's just a joke! Don't worry about it..." But my voice sounded condescending almost...even though it was my style of humour, not wanting to offend and just being light-hearted.

Eventually my friend came up on stage and sung John Mayer's "I'm Gonna Find Another You" accompanied by younger years of the school on instruments and also back-up singers.

This was the end of this dream.

The second dream was fairly 'scary' you could say, or at least exhilarating. The most part of it I can remember there was a war going on, and there were lots of explosives going off in random parts of my dream scene. It was fairly scary. But eventually they waned, and there was some calm...

Until I got to the coast, I was on a boat or something similar (not quite sure, a raft? Something small anyhow.) Then swarms of helicopters appeared on the horizon (people on the coast were shouting 'Portuguese!' so I assumed I was in Spain and also I assumed I should run...or at least try to get away.

But alas, missiles started to be fired at me...I had to abandon ship, and fast. So I jumped off the side of the boat and it was destroyed. Somehow my mind created or 'knew' that they had special helicopters that could dive under the ocean for a certain length of time to shoot any survivors.

One roared right past me and I saw bullets streaming through the water from above and also harpoons being shot at me. I thought 'this is it, I'm done for' but instead of anything happening...I seemed to be exceedingly lucky and resurfaced. I found that one of their helicopters had been shot down by 'friends' from somewhere on the coast.

Somehow it was massive, and seemingly it was like a wrecked hut or something. But it was full of explosives in the making, shells/mortars and strange contraptions...I knew I had to get out. If they discovered me they'd fire a missile at me and blow the place sky-high.

So I ran out...to find an awaiting chopper, I was on the shore line. I scrambled onto the rocks and saw that missiles were being fired at me. Not that accurate...and not as fast as I imagine missiles would be.

I had to escape it somehow...but it had everywhere covered...I managed to duck around a corner, missiles still firing freely. I scrambled through a fence and into and inside area. It was here where I was so scared I was going to get hit that I said 'Ok this is a dream'. But still it was not lucid at all...nothing convinced me enough and colours were dull and it pretty much ended my dream right there.

This is the second time in two nights that this has happened...when I'm running away scared from something I just say 'this is a dream' at some point it just pops into my head, but it effectively kills off the dream with no actual lucidity.

I've actually just remembered another small dream. (Shows the recall is working&#33

[Personal note: I've just come back from an 8 month trip in Europe. The UK was where I spent most of my time, Scotland mainly. It's where the majority of my family lives, I hadn't seen them in 12 months. Anyhow, over the months I had a girlfriend, made great friends, life-long friends it seems with people over there. Now I'm back home in Australia, I miss them a lot and it's been strange adapting back into life over here.]

My dream saw me back in Scotland...I saw everyone again, and I felt so happy...everything was fine and I didn't even question how I was suddenly back in Scotland. But yeah, it's a bit strange but it tells me a big portion of myself is still back there.

      The End.

Finally! Tonight I had a very substantial and sustained lucid dream, I'd say it went for about 25-30 minutes.

Alongside that were some fairly strange non-lucid dreams.

I'll start with the the non-lucid, and then then I'll write the lucid dreams in a blue font.

The non-lucid dreams saw me mostly in a city, walking around and talking to people I knew. A lot of friends were there it seemed like they were 'out' for the night i.e. going to clubs and such. I didn't really know what was going on as such.

But then I received a text message on my phone from someone, it was strangely enough the actress from 'Harry Potter' Emma Watson, (it must've been because I read an article on the actors the previous night) and she was saying she was bored and wanted something to do.

Somehow logic didn't seem to kick in for me here and I accepted it as natural. At the time I thought of it as a bit of a chore to go and entertain someone, but I guess it was from a celebrity. I took her around the city in my car it was here that I saw police, my friends and a lot of traffic and I remember thinking 'Where am I?'

      Lucid:

My lucidity was brought upon by what it always seems to be, a DILD. But this time I reality checked thoroughly AFTER I said 'this is a dream.' It's uncanny to me because I haven't seen/done anything that makes me reality check and thus ending in a lucid dream, it's simply me 'stating' that 'this is a dream' and then it happens. I reality checked with the 'hand in hand' technique (which I now know doesn't work for me - it feels real) and also the 'holding my nose and breathing in' technique which worked wonders.

The cool thing is, after the hand-in-hand I doubted it and everything was less vivid and real to my eyes. As soon as I held my nose and could breath in, I realised 'Hey I really am dreaming' and I kind of 'sunk' into the dream.

I didn't rush myself, I didn't get too overexcited (I've been here before! I can make this last longer I thought to myself) or overambitious. Instead I decided I would observe the light in the air and see how it reflected off and hit other things that surrounded me.

I was behind a tall set of buildings (as I was in the 'city' when I became lucid) so the sun was being blocked, I walked forward and around the buildings so I could see the sun directly coming down. I remember thinking 'wow, this is such an awesome place to be'. There wasn't a cloud in the sky, the ground on which I walked was a kind of pebble-stone and the city was slowly fading away and forming rolling green hills.

I decided now, before I did anything major, to sustain the dream so it didn't fade. I looked at my feet and spun around with my arms out. I then looked at my hands and then away from them to the outer world. It still was very real.

I think my only downfall here was a lack of goals, I had too many I'd say...but somehow I had a mental blank and couldn't really remember one that wasn't totally mind-bending. I'd say I'd set too many ambitious goals 'flying to another world', 'fly to the clouds' etc. So instead of flying to a particular place, I just flew anywhere.

I decided I'd go to a club with my friends. So I flew and then seemingly teleported to a club, my friends were waiting outside for me. We all walked in, it was a fairly open dance floor and surrounding. There were a ton of people dancing. I decided I'd show off with some break dancing (I can't break dance, but lucidity helped me on this one. )

The crowd/clubbers liked it and I felt fairly 'proud' or something similar. Next I decided I'd fly back to 'home base'. I tend to do this in a lucid dream, I create/go to a place that will serve as my return point. Having a return point helps me greatly, as I know what it looks like and I can easily get back there by use of a 'portal door' or spinning and changing the scenery.

The return point I have is fairly simple, nothing elaborate at the moment, that's where I try to sustain my lucidity and decide on what I'm going to do next.

What I decided to do next was fairly ambitious. I decided I'd 'save a girl' from some guys who were trying to steal something from her/harassing her. I created a small wooden door with the intent of there being a forest on the other side.

Instead it was a dark corridor, which lead into a dark corridor. (Ominous signs of me losing lucidity perhaps? Brightness didn't really improve.) I saw three guys with sticks trying to steal things from a girl, she wasn't standing up, but she wasn't being totally co-operative at the same time. I shouted at them to leave her alone.

Of course immediately they turned hostile and I proceeded to use my newly acquired kung-fu skills to dispatch them one-by-one.

This however marked the end of my lucid dream, as it faded out all together. In my excitement I had neglected to remind myself/assure myself that this was a dream and there was nothing to prevent me from dreaming further.

Although it doesn't sound like it went for very long, I was trying to hone my lucid techniques, so a lot of it was inspecting for detail, walking, running & flying and simply what I call 'random lucid acts' in which I control small and scattered events/objects.

One second! I actually just remembered an interesting point from my dream. Lucid again.

I was eating a meal with my my grandmother outside of a restaurant or so it seemed. There was an attractive woman across from me and we were eating a meal of some sort. I still knew it was a dream. But at the same time I had no control...I was trying to change a lot of things, but they would never happen. Here I showed my newbieness by not going through the motions to 'sustain' the dream, instead I got frustrated and kept trying to control things until they worked.

Well that was last nights adventure. I am fairly happy with it, it served me very well as I learned a few things and even developed a few ideas for the future.

      Cheers.

Tonight were fairly decent sized dreams of a very strange nature.

One of my dreams saw myself and two of my close friends going into a university lecture hall, it was one of the coolest designs for a lecture hall that I'd ever seen. There were multiple groupings of chairs, massive screens and different seating arrangements.

I remember that I was first into the hall ahead of my friends...but as I looked back I couldn't see them...so I took a seat. Then, all of these people from my old high-school took the seats next to me. They were leather-bound swivel chairs at a round...or perhaps it was a pentagonal table.

Either way, I was disappointed that my friends hadn't come in yet. But after a moment, I looked forwards and over a banister. There were 'normal' rows of chairs facing a big projection screen and the lecturer himself and I saw my friends over there.

But somehow something inside me forced me not to act and not go and sit by my friends, so I stay in the original seats at the back.

Then, something strange happened...I can only think of it in my head right now as 'Pirates of the Caribbean simulation' or something bizarre like that.

The lecturer started talking about something and as if he were narrating a story...things started to happen. All of the people at the back of the room on the 'special' seats were now caught up in an interactive simulation of what the lecturer was talking about.

I was standing on wooden beams, in the floor...surrounded by water...there was shaking and movement. It felt as if I were on a boat made of wooden beams. I had to retain my balance...and I was thinking "wow, what's this?" At the end the whole thing burned up, and shook violently...and we were returned to normality.

I looked over at my friends and was like "Haha! This is cool man!"

      This dream faded though here.

Another dream saw me in a car with two 'random' people from high-school, but from a different year, people I didn't even know.

We were going to some trance/dance/techno event and we had strange 'Techno' tags attached to our shoes. But I lost one, which sucked at the time because I wanted two of them.

Before this event, I remember parking at some strange car park at night and seeing lots of my friends walking around. I was excited as it was going to be a big night tonight. (Random snippet yes&#33

In another dream, I remember walking on a beautiful coastline, with a group of people headed by an old man, a cool guy though who knew a lot about the world. I remember seeing a big, sweeping shoreline, constructed mainly of large and craggy whitey/brown coloured rocks.

Another dream saw me following the progress of this boy, who was separated from his mother or something. And taken to different carers. As soon as he'd grown to love/trust the carer he was with, he was taken from them to another...it was some kind of sick experiment or something.

But he started to become irrational and steal things etc. I don't know what this dream meant at all...but the child started to change after having to change places and people so often.

Anyhow, that's the end of last night's adventures, it was really fragmented but I'm getting there with my recall. I woke up having lost all of my dreams. But I remembered them slowly, and I guess I'm fairly happy with that.

      The End.

Been a while since my last update, but I've been keeping them offline and trying harder with my dreaming efforts recently:

After taking 200mg of Vitamin B6 and 2000mg of Valerian I had the most extraordinary night of dreaming I’ve had in a long while, I had a prolonged lucid dream and several long non-lucid dreams.

The way I became lucid was strange, but it worked so I can’t complain.

The first dream I can recall, was myself being with my grandparents on my mothers side. I had been staying with these grandparents most of last year in reality, and so I suppose they are reasonably ‘fresh’ in my mind. The weird thing was they were in this area which was kind of like a cage. A cage that was open, it was a black iron cage and it wasn’t closed at the top and it had a door. It was in the middle of a concrete carpark or so it seemed. They were sitting on a bench inside it, I suppose this seems rather odd, but I didn’t think anything of it. I will have to think of this as a dream sign, my grandparents.

They talked to me for a while, and we went for a walk. Then somehow I saw ‘Sydney University’ even though it wasn’t – it was in my mind though. It was student accommodation, but it was really old and strange. An advertisement was playing in my head or something similar. My papa picked up a pie, and said “This pie always stays here, people piss on it so people won’t move it.” Yet again, very, very strange but I didn’t react to it except for saying “Oh ok.”

I went inside the accommodation; it was a door that was at the end of an inner greenish concreted area, which had chairs and tables inside it. I walked through the door and left my grandparents behind. It was a bit hazy here I guess, but I remember it being dark and then seeing Ben Howard, which was rather strange in itself. I think he was just heading out somewhere and I was instinctively getting ready to go to bed, as I now though/knew it was night time. I went to the toilet which was inside the bathroom, but elevated by a set of stairs. I used this, and then walked back to bed, resolving to myself that I would lucid dream tonight. I instantly fell into what seemed like a dream – my head was full of a buzzing, a heaviness of sorts. I did a critical state test; I was shocked to say “Wow I am dreaming.” I clenched my nose with my thumb and forefinger and I could breathe through it. I said to myself “I am dreaming.” I was still very weary that I was here so I continued to do the breathing test. I was now satisfied. I was in my room in Cherrybrook. I tested it by putting the light on with my mind. And then turning my computer monitor (or somehow what looked more like a TV at the time) on and then I was very happy.

The problem was that the dream was very dark and I couldn’t seem to change this, it was scarily dark. I knew it was night time and I was asleep at home – I walked through my window and was out onto the street. It was really dark, as in I couldn’t see much in front of me. I was thinking this was because I wasn’t lucid enough, so I tried some spinning and saying to myself that what I would see next, would be a dream. It sort of worked, but I felt ‘tired’ inside this lucid dream which was bizarre so I closed my eyes and spun around again. Then I went for a jog which seemed awkward, it seemed I was taking steps that was far too little. I jogged up Forester crescent up to Purchase road. Here it became a lot lighter and a lot more detailed.

I called along a few things, a car I said “I want to see a cool car driving.” It did, it came along revving fairly hard, it was an older car, an American muscle car which was painted blue.

I said it needs a driver, so I suggested it be an attractive girl – you know, just because. I saw her appear in the drivers spot, and she turned down Eldridge Street, presumably to come back up to me and give me a ride. The car did return, but there was no driver in it. It stopped next to me and I got an overwhelming sense of fear and told it to go away. It drove off, and I decided I should destroy it. I somehow got the idea of shooting it in the petrol tank so that it would explode. So using my hand I spoke ‘Magnum 45.” Then I positioned my hands into a gun shape, fired…and it was very cool, there was recoil and I could hear the noise and see the bullet hit the car. However I could not hit the petrol tank, I shot at it 4 or 5 times as it sped down Purchase road and around the bend. I wasn’t too interested in this anymore. So I turned around and observed the scene. I checked a few houses out, they looked fairly similar to house on Purchase road. I think at this point I was almost slipping from lucidity and I did nothing to maintain it which was a bit annoying. I jumped up and flew almost into a window and I caught a glimpse on inside, it was some ones bedroom. As I hit the ground, on my return down I awakened. I’m fairly sure it wasn’t a false awakening as I heard my clocks ticking, both of them – I was cold as my hand had been outside of my blanket and I did a critical state test which proved I was no longer lucid. I cannot remember if my lucid dream was before or after my 5am alarm.

My dreams now were simply dreams that occurred after awakening at dawn, the one that stands out most is my ‘adventure’ dreams where I was walking/running for a long time through forests and other such things.

I remember walking along this crazily large rock path, which was inside a forest, I didn’t know where I was going and I didn’t know why I was there in the first place. My dad was behind me for a time, but I ran as fast as I could to see where I was going or where I was headed in general.

The next dream happened after I awoke at about 8:15 and it was a massive dream as it carried me through for 2 hours and I woke up at 11:15.

I was playing Mario Kart with a group of people – one seemed like Albina, one was Paul and another was someone else, although I don’t know who.

It seemed like a really cool version of the game and it was lots of fun. Although somehow I was often left behind…it seemed like everyone was inside the game and playing really well. I was looking at the screen and although I was playing with four people, only my image was on the screen. Eventually I got sucked into the game and into this ‘ship’ level.

This was truly bizarre as it was infested with strange bugs and an old ship which was inside a warehouse or abandoned house. We walked around planks and platforms for what seemed forever, I was careful to watch my step. It was weird because at times we were controlling the Mario Kart, carts. But other times we were sort of fending for ourselves and trying to make our way what was a ‘track’ inside this big building and inside the ship. The bugs were really, really strange. There were two types, ones that were beetles with a hard and shiny back and one that were strange blue blobby kind of insects, which long red legs, resembling worms. They moved jerkily and they weren’t dangerous apparently. Except, I left this guy behind at the wall, he was sitting down and having a rest, when I returned he was entirely covered in a hard blue case – which was comprised by hundreds of these blue blobby insects, forming a hard shell. I threw a shoe at it, and it partially uncovered him, it uncovered half of his head and some of his arms, he was stooped down. I stupidly asked if he needed help. He managed to say that he did. I pulled him out, and he was covered in blue random crap. I thought he would have been dead, but he wasn’t. We walked outside and that was the end of that inside place as I was growing disgusted of the place. Paul was still walking around about the inside, which was rather strange as well.

There were a few more small dreams, I remember my friend James (Bockit) was in one but I can’t exactly remember now.

Tonight there were three or four major dreams that I can remember.

The first and second were fairly scary dreams.

The first dream saw me in what appeared to be a market place, and a large house. The market place was full of mini pianos that almost looked like little boxes. There were several people playing on them. I’m not so sure how the transition happened, but I was suddenly in a large house by myself. There was something strange going on, I played on a mini piano that was there but strange strings came off it and lead away from the box.

Then I saw that there was a malicious spirit attached to the box, and every note I played was recorded and stored in the box and was recorded with a string? The demon that was connected to the box was laughing and saying I would never now escape unless I could outplay it. I knew I was doomed because I can’t play piano. But somehow I had it in me to play some insanely complex piece that went for about 4 or 5 minutes. The demon didn’t do anything, it sat down and played something really badly…basically hitting the keys. It still laughed and it was obvious it was cheating.

Here I did something strange, I punched its face until it was nothingness…I ‘ripped off it’s head’ and there was nothing there but a bloody stump, then it somehow begged me to return it’s head. I wasn’t going to. It started to regrow, so I smashed it again and again. But it kept reforming – I knew I was doomed. This dream ended with me waking up, I was fairly relieved.

The next dream I had was similar in ways, it involved a demon of some kind but it was a typical people versus demon scenario. I had a power that meant I was really light or something, I could jump really high and it would take me a while to float down. I didn’t see this as the best power ever, but it was useful. Then came a demon of sorts, a really fast one that shot spikes and could charge at incredible speeds – it also had big blades. I was locked in combat with it for a fair while, it was charging me and I was jumping up in the air so it passed below me. It was shooting spikes at me, yet I was catching them…and throwing them back really slowly and weakly, it was bizarre. Yet again this dream was ended by me waking up.

The next dream was at a ‘club’ called Famous where I went on the weekend in reality. Although it was pretty funny as it looked like a school hall and the people in it were all people my age dressed up to go to a club. There was a dance competition on, and I was thinking about entering, but I chose not to. Instead, one of my friends did and myself and another friend watched on, whilst sitting in the crowd. I got talking with some fairly attractive girl who was sitting behind me. We talked about random stuff, and in the end I asked if she’d mind my stuff while I went to the toilet. She said yes. This was a bizarre part, I went off to the right side of the hall and it was a field, I walked around the back of where I thought backstage was and went to the toilet. When I returned my friend James was talking to the girl and saying he’d lost his ID. He thought she had stolen it somehow, even though she was guarding my stuff. I got my stuff back off her, and then helped him go and look for his things in the ‘fields’ that were off to the right. We couldn’t find it – and the dance competition wasn’t starting. This is where the dream went into the 4th part, but it was fairly unrelated.

There was something going on at some massive McDonalds, a big celebration of sorts. All this food was laden out on lots of tables, it was McDonalds as I’d never seen it before, it was gigantic and they had hundreds of things on the menu. I remember playing street fighter against one of my friends, I was beating him almost every time, no matter how many characters we used. I remember using lots of characters that weren’t even in street fighter. I remember seeing a life sized Buzz Lightyear and also inside some kind of menu, he was standing there smiling. I was at one stage using Sub Zero as a character and I had no idea how, I also didn’t know how to use him. So I tried to go to the menu for his list of moves. Somehow this involved me leaving the room and looking in this tall chest of drawers. I opened the bottom drawer and somehow knew that there were no moves for him, because the drawer was empty.

After this there was some trouble going on inside the McDonalds, a killer loose or something and it involved a shovel and a brush. My friend (who is really hazily on the side the entire time) told me to grab someone from the room. (which was the hall which was ‘Famous’.) It was a lot smaller this time and everyone was quiet. I grabbed the girl I had been talking to before and threw her over my shoulder – it was if I had assumed the form of the character Sub Zero and I was really strong. I also had the thought that she wouldn’t mind being carried away because I looked like someone who was doing the right thing. I carried her away into the McDonalds, there was something going on in the background, as if there was a drama unfolding and I was aware of it all via radio or something, but I didn’t have a radio at all.

I asked her in a joking kind of way what food she wanted – they had a strange steak menu they had a picture of each steak laid on its bottom, and then the picture shown was from its side. There were about 8 steaks on here, and each time I looked at one…it would zoom right up close to it for some reason. Anyhow, eventually the trouble went away, but there was still a feeling of tension in the air. We were all to leave, myself, the girl who I’d been talking to before and parents (who were not my parents or siblings) in their car. It was an oldish blue station wagon I believe. It was burdened with lots of suitcases and a full front and back seat. I squeezed in next to the girl. But before we moved off, there was this ‘Principal’ guy or something, who seemingly came from nowhere, but in my mind he was a good friend and we’d ‘been through all this trouble together’ it was like the end of a movie where everyone is happy. He said “There is one last thing to show you.” And he went to a massive plane hangar and it opened – it was a huge, huge hangar so I expected to see a massive plane at the start, yet there, taking up about 1/32 of the space in the hangar was a light plane. Then I saw a massive concord looking plane bearing his name. There was also a crane and an assortment of massive machinery in there. I thought to myself I would like to be a pilot one day. We then left in the car, but the car was clearly under strain, the wheels were almost flat from the effort, and the car was wobbling all over the place because of it. We were too heavy, with all the luggage and people in the car yet we continued on. I suggest to the guy driving the car (who would’ve been the dad) to stop and pump the tyres up a little bit. The road was hot, so I said the friction will still be good, but we need more air. He declined in a frustrated tone, saying they were fully pumped and would just pop if we filled them with anymore.

It was at this point I realised I didn’t have a seatbelt on and we were going down an insanely steep hill, I started to float in the air and shouted ‘help me!’ and tried to get my seatbelt on, although it wouldn’t pull out because it was locked in - a safety feature of the car. I tried to clip it in, but it wouldn’t go. The driver instantly knew this and pulled over, he was pretty angry and tried to tell me he wasn’t driving me anywhere else and I could find my own way. There was a little kid next to me who swapped their seatbelt clipper with me and all was well. We started driving off again, I remember seeing a large brick house before reaching for my phone headphones to plug into my phone and listen to music. This is where the dream ended.

Strange lot of dreams last night. No lucid dreams tonight, but I’ll continue practising.
