So, I found this forum because of a search about lucid dreaming, which I had one this morning. I've always wanted to keep better track of my dreams, so I'll give this a try!

The other night (non lucid)- I'm out walking my dog, Levi, around the neighborhood. Then outta nowhere this really tall, thin version of the abominable snowman appears and starts jumping around and following us. Levi & I try to turn around to run back home, and Mr. Snowman blocks us. I lose control of the dog and have to tackle Mr. Snowman. I search for Levi, eventually find him, then we continue on our walk. Then, same as before, except now its kind of a winged-wolf creature. I lose the dog again, but this time, he's left all his skin behind. Like a kind of dog suit- it's just lying there on the ground, looking like a dog could step into it like a pair of kids pajamas with feet. So for the rest of the dream, I'm carrying around this Levi suit, looking for my dog. But I can't find him, because without his suit on, I don't recognize him. I keep thinking all these other dogs are him, but I never pick the right one.

This morning, I woke up early, got breakfast, read the paper, and decided to go back to bed. Not realizing that this was a method for lucid dreaming. I've had a few in the past, but not recently.

#1- I'm outside walking Levi, but the neighborhood is different. As we are getting back to the house, we start to see all these dogs on a sort of parade/march- all without owners, all spaced evenly, headed in the right direction. Yeah, and then there was this giant bear in front of us. I became lucid at that point, got excited, and woke myself up.

#2- I'm putting the key in the lock to unlock my front door, walk in, and realize that the layout of the house is entirely different. I try to find a way out and can't. I do a watch check- definitely dreaming. I'm able to wander around, until I find someone sitting in the kitchen. The person sitting in the kitchen isn't looking at me, so I decide that I'm invisible! I walk right up to the person, who looks over at me, and whoops, not invisible.

#3- Suddenly am standing on the beach, water at my feet. I do a watch check. Then a person is in front of me, and face starts morphing into a new person every few seconds. I tried to walk away, but started losing control of dream... I need to learn a better technique, as I have a hard time with spinning.
