Night of January 25, 2008

Technique of the Month: FILD

I tried WBTB last night. I went to bed at 11PM, woke up at 4:20AM and went back to bed at 5:20AM. I don't think I tried hard enough on the FILD. It seemed like I was more tired when I woke up at 4:20AM then I did when I went back to bed at 5:20AM. I barely remembered these dreams, I couldn't remember any of my dreams in the past few days and hopefully this has stopped my short dry spell.

Mass Mosquitoes Groups
I was with my family and I met my older brother who lost tons of weight since the last time I saw him. He still wore glasses and he was really skinny. We were in some kind of restaurant that was right next to the coast. My family and my grandma were there too. I remember that I was in a different room on my computer and everyone else was at the table eating. I went back into the room everyone else was in and my grandma pointed out some mosquitoes that were in the room. There were thousands of them, in different groups of course. They started coming after me so I ran away.

College
I was with a group of programmers that had computers in a circle. I stayed there for a few seconds then moved on to the hall way. Next thing I know I'm in some bleachers with some friends of mine that I didn't know. There were thousands of people sitting in bleachers for some reason. I felt lost and confused in all that mess.

Night of January 26, 2008

I didn't remember any of my dreams last night. What I had plan to do was to stay up all night and stay awake the next day so I would be tired the next time I went to sleep. That failed, I went to bad at 2AM woke up at 9AM.

Directing/Watching
I was sitting with the audience, the seats were connected with cloth on them. I was on the right end probably in the 7th row. I was at what seemed to be a musical and I was directing. There was somebody telling someone I knew IRL what to sing but it looked like he was nervous to. I thought I was directing but when I think about it doesn't seem like I was. There was so many props on the stage that I couldn't see any of the people on stage.

The following dream took place after I hit the first snooze button (I think, it could have been before that when I woke up in the middle of the early morning):

Walking Down Parking Lot
I was walking in a parking lot that had dirt and wasn't cemented. I was walking with someone that is one of my classes at school but I don't talk to him much; there was also another person that I felt but I couldn't see him. I had my head turned to the left looking at the person. There was a wired fence and a lot of trees behind that fence. We walked passed a black truck that was parked.

*Note: I used autosuggestion when I got in bed last night and said to myself "I will vividly remember my dreams."

Night of February 1, 2008
VILD

Learning Weapons
I remember opening up a door from the inside of the house. An old man told me to go to that pile of inventory. He handed me a long strip that had pockets which had equipment in it, there was also a canteen strapped tightly to the right. "Always keep your canteen full" while he said this he let loose the strap that was holding it and tightened it again. While I was looking at all the equipment I had in m hansd he started to explain that the canteen is mysteriously kept cold but when drinking it the water was hot. Another guy came over to talk to the old man that was all ready with me. The old man told me to put on a mask. The masks were in thin strips of plastic and there were pictures on them what the mask would look like.

BCT (Basic Combat Training)
I was in some building walking down te hall with a friend of mine that I never met IRL. A guy that was abscent through the whole BCT (3 weeks) was walking toward us. I stopped him and told him that he missed BCT. He didn't seem to be surprised but just confused.

Half Lucid
I was in a street next to a guy that was standing next to his car. I randomly did a nose reality check but I didn't do anything about it, the dream vividness wasn't that great and the dream faded a few seconds after.

Circle Running
I was in what seemed to be some fitness program. I was sitting on the floor stretching with a group of people while there were other people running around our group. While I was bending down I could feel knees grazing my back while they were running. I looked up and saw my friend coming back from getting a drink and I thought it was him doing it.

Night of February 05, 2008

I did a nose reality check randomly once again and I didn't get lucid.

Japanese Band
I was in band class and we weren't really playing at the moment, just hanging out. After a while we were directed to some doors that led to an outside courtyard. We marched through the courtyard while playing. We met up with some Japanese monks it looked like (they were wearing white robes) half way up there. They led us inside and it was a fixed forum, so we set up there. I was up on the third row I think. I had a pencil in my hand and it wasn't sharpened. I remember playing the pencil (wtf?), blowing air in it making a sound (it was a #2 pencil). Some of the pencil has a piece coming off so I pulled it off. The girl next to me I knew, but she wasn't in band IRL, and she looked at me with a questioning look, I just shrugged. While this was happening the Japanese guys were working with a different group, but I didn't hear any sound from them.

Car Adventure
I was in a car with someone I knew from a different forum and we were just driving everywhere. The most part I remember was that he warned me that there was a car up ahead that we were going to hit thats in a field of other real cars. This one that we were going to hit was an inflatable. We were nearing it once we hit it, we went straight through it. I was just staring at the road ahead of us after the impact.

2nd Job
IRL I have an interview for a job coming up. I was in some garage with some people. I walked in while a guy was telling somebody else why two other guys quit and he said "They quit because they didn't like the color of the jacket". He said this while holding a jacket that was a yellowish green color. During this dream I was worried about having a second job because I was going to get another one soon. I said "Hey, I'm the new guy". The guy was just staring at me and I had to repeat myself before he responded. He told me to follow him and he showed me a hammer and some kind of material. He told me to hit the material. Once I hit it I saw two things running around, I bent down to get a closer look. They were two beetles running in circles. I was like "WTF?! How'd they get in there?!".

Night of February 06, 2008

I went to bed at 11PM and didn't get to sleep at around 12AM. I woke up by myself at exactly 3:00AM. Two dreams were in the time frame of 12AM - 3AM. I didn't recall any 3AM - 6AM.

CoD4
It seemed as if my vision was green, as if my real vision were night vision. I was heading toward a tower that was looking across a field and the next thing I knew I was up there. It was modern warfare I think because I remember seeing enemy soldiers running towards me with modern guns firing. I don't think I fired my weapon just seeing others running towards me.

Take Down the Old Town
I was on top of a house and I was behind a chimney of some sort or a sign. I had in my hands an M1 Garand and I was aiming it at people who came towards the building I was on. The town had a dirt road and the buildings were wooden, just like the old west. It seemed as if the dream lasted weeks but there was no night. I just remember the days changing some how. People were coming to the town to try and destroy it. They came in and out of some doors that was next door. One day a guy came through those doors and I decided to hear what he said. I went down and walked inside. I was the farthest away from the door on the left side of the bar, I was standing up. People held out beers in mugs in front of them cheering. I didn't catch what he said but I remember agreeing with everything he said.

Playing Piano
I was in a hotel it seemed (it had that atmosphere). I walked toward a leather couch and sat there while I listened someone playing the piano that was around the corner. Once the playing was done I got up and walked toward the piano and sat down in the seat. I can clearly remember playing the piano perfectly with a song I didn't know IRL. While I was playing and ending toward the end I feared that I was going to mess up and forget the song. The ending of the piece was still going fast, not slow as some would expect and the dream ended.

Attempted FILD & WBTB - Failed

Patrol Exercise
I was walking down a dirt road in a small town with buildings that were spread out. I heard a high ranking officer to the right of me that there might be an enemy soldier to the left in the trees that could see us and we should keep an eye on it. I looked behind myself and saw around four to five people holding an M1 Garand and there were other people around them without weapons. They were wearing civilian clothing. I was holding an M1 Garand myself, I was holding it loose in my hands not aiming. I was in the front of the patrol.

Store
I was at at stop with my family and we went into a store that we just noticed that was there, like it just popped up. We walked inside and the letterings were in dark green with a black background. I think I came up to a point where I just said that they were alien ninjas. eh

Pie
I was in a kitchen with two of my brothers. I was confused on what they were making because they were talking about some RPT game like WoW. They were talking about their skills level and stuff (they don't play WoW IRL). I noticed that my oldest brother had lost a lot of weight. I finally got out some pie crust and put it down on the table. Next I got some lettuce and put it down, I looked around at everyones else's and one of my brother had 'Happy Birthday' written on it. My mom came in, so we scattered and left the area and the dream went away.

Sick and Dreams In A Dream
I woke up at around 9AM and noticed that it feels like I have a cold. I went back to bed and I was sick in the dream. I woke up in bed and looked around and noticed that I was in a different room. I closed my eyes and opened my eyes again (partly) and saw strange dark lines, I thought they were from an alien picture I saw that had tentacles (I don't remember seeing the picture). I closed my eyes again, opened them again and I could see. A nurse came in and told me that I shouldn't be walking around since I'm sick. I get up anyway, walked to the doorway and I was in a basement. People were there and it seemed as if they were my friends but IRL I didn't know them. I woke up again in my dream bed, opened my eyes and saw the lines again. I closed them again and opened them up and I could see. Somewhere I remember having my iPod on and listening to it. I think I got back up and walked back to the basement, played some ping pong and chatted to some people. I was sent back upstairs to sleep.

Night of February 09, 2008

Attempted: Auto suggestion, WBTB, and FILD - Failed

I went to sleep at 8:00 PM and woke up at 9:30 PM. I didn't go back to sleep until 2:00 AM because I wasn't sleepy and I couldn't get back to sleep. I may need to stop thinking about lucid dreaming while I have this cold. This is my second day having it.

Civil War Reenactment Canceled
I was in a car with my mom, brother, and my brother's friend. We were heading to a museum/gym where a civil war reenactment would take place. Since it was in a gym I thought it was going to be some kind of play. Once we get there everyone was wearing one piece clothing that had a color of tan. They announced that they weren't going to have it, so everyone started to head out. On my way out I saw a soldier and I asked him what he was there for. He didn't respond. A bald guy came by me and said that he was a German reenactor for the World War II reenactment that was going to happen soon. I rushed to our car to tell my mom that there was a unit closer than the one I found IRL. I got tot he car and found that the side I got on couldn't be accessed to because of a mudslide. The car looked like it was from the 1800s or early 1900s. I got to the other side of the car and opened the door. My brother was on the side that I opened the door and his friend was on the other side. I told him to move because I couldn't get to the backseat but he didn't do what I told him to do.

Night of February 10, 2008

Third day being sick. Drank a mug of Hot chocolate at 2119 hrs. Went to bed around 0000 hrs, got in bed at 2300 hrs, during that interval I was reading a book. I woke up at 0600 hrs and went back to sleep at 0616 hrs. I woke up again at 0800 hrs and read for an hour and then got out of bed.

Book Going Away
I was sick in another dream once again or at least I thought I was. My brother was about to leave for school and I was talking to my mom about something. I just then remembered that I left my book in my brother's truck and right when I was going to go get it, he pulled out of the drive way. I told my mom to call him and tell him to come back so I can have my book. I don't know why I asked my mom to do that since I have my own cell phone IRL.

Fishman Sick Tube
I just started thinking of the cartoon show 'Teen Titans'. This reason why I remembered this is because before the dream started I saw a TV commercial that showed a new episode of the show showing that there was a new character that I didn't recognize and it had some fish ability. I was in a laboratory and the character was in this tube like glass thing that is filled with some liquid. I was talking to a scientist that was there with me while I was looking at the tube. I could see the person's private area overspannen in a different area then it should be.

1920s Probably
The date seemed as if it were in the 1920s or somewhere in the time period. I was probably 18 in the dream wearing a red long sleeved dress shirt, jeans, and brown boots. I was with my little sister that was probably 7 years old (she was young at least) but I don't even have a sister IRL. I walked out of the house and she followed me. We went outside to look at the stars. There was this dead cow that was in a corner that was supposed to improve our vision of seeing the stars. It was too early in the evening to be able to see any stars so I told her that I was going back inside but she made me stay out. Later in the dream I was in an open field around the same time with my sister.

Lost Kid
I was at some kind of building that I thought was my church. I was with some friends and a police officer came by and told us that there was a lost kid and asked if we could help find him. I started running after my friends that got a head start on me and while we were looking for the kid I got a text message from the junior high leader, I forgot what it said, but I just ignored it. We came to a corner where there was a window to the right and a staircase to the left that lead to the first floor. We found the kid inbetween the window and the staircase, so I picked him up and walked downstairs. There were a group of adults at the bottom that cheered and I remember an old man with a long white beard there too.

I surrender
It was of course Americans vs. Germans. And I was on the German side (yes a Nazi lol). The area was farmland and there was wheat in the battlefield. There was also a low stone wall in the middle of the field. Somehow I got onto the American side and I could hear the battle cry of the Germans. I climbed up a ladder to what seemed like a silo but it was more of a building. I got to the top and crawled to where there is a corner. I saw an American just stare at me, he was across the wall, and I just kept telling him that I had my k98 behind me and I wasn't going to shoot him. I had my hands on my helmet pleading to be captured. Another American looked around the corner and stared at me. For some reason I thought about taking out my luger, I didn't know I actually had. I got up and saw that they had a machine gun pointing toward the Germans. It had two triggers, one for each hand. I also was thinking that they might have me kill my own friends using it.

Scary Author
I was in a dim room by myself thinking about what book to read. I was in that room for a while. The next thing I knew I was at my old church and I was on the balcony and I could see everyone doing some kind of dance at the same time. I asked one of my old friends that was doing it and all he said was how good he was at doing it now. I saw a light brownish table that had a stack of books on them. I told my mom to come check this out and told her that all these books were by the same author and these could be what is causing everyone to do what they were doing. She just said something I didn't get and walked out.

Meet Up
It started out me being in a hospital with some friends and someone came into the room we were in and said that it was raining chocolate. We went outside of the building walked to a store. I saw someone from school talking to a video camera and i just stop and watch him talk to it. He said to the camera that it was raining chocolate or something and that he needed to leave. I walked out of the store and got to a bus stop it seemed and saw him there. I was waiting for my friends to get back from a restaurant they went to. I could see my middle school to my left and it was covered in dense forest. The next thing I knew I was walking up the steps to my math class which was in a mobile and while I was walking up them a girl behind me kept on pulling up my sweatpants saying that I needed to keep them up, and that she didn't want to see my crack. I could feel them going down by themselves. I walked into the room and I saw this kid with an evil grin, he was in the back row closest to the door. He had around five quarters and he was putting them in some kind of small compartment in the wall that was near the floor. While I was walking up the aisle he tossed the quarters to me and I picked one up. I looked at one side of it and it had the two wheat signs and one cent written on it, but it was the size of a quarter!

Crazy Wolf
I was in the family mini van with my mom. She was driving me to some woods where I was meeting up with some friends. I told her to stop when we got to a place but she kept on driving. She didn't stop until a few minute driving at 20 miles per hour. I don't remember getting out of the car but all of the sudden I was with some friends in the woods. There was this extremely angry wolf and it seemed as if it was guarding the edge of a forest. It was running all over the place and I was scared of it. One of my friends started talking to us saying that it's worried about the construction workers widening the road and into its territory/habitat. After a while the wolf calmed down when my friend was talking to it and it seemed as if it knew what we were saying. Before this I was with some friends at their house and we were preparing to go to a party, I wasn't even friends with this guy IRL and I didn't even know him IRL.

I remember being in a dream with night vision so I thought it was Call of Duty 4 I was in. Plus it had modern day weapons.

I was on the 1st ID forums (CoD2 realism unit) just looking around. I find this guy's post threatening towards me so I responded back. I'm usually on this forum that was in this dream daily

Night of February 16, 2008

Fall Back
The time was in nighttime so I was seeing in night vision with no goggles. I was with only a few people and we had machine guns. We were shooting at a group that had more people than we had, so I knew we weren't going to win, we were fighting still. It looked as if we were winning, but that's when the enemy got reinforcements. I told everyone to fall back, so we started stepping back while firing at them. The reinforcements came in a helicopter, coming down on a rope. There were pipes places and a warehouse type building to our right.

Make Me Feel Better
I was in a what seemed to be a shoe shop but they didn't have any shoes. I was with a guy and a girl (they were friends, but strangers IRL) and the girl said not to worry. I went outside and they followed me. It was dark but there were some lamp posts around. "This is going to make you feel better, now just watch me." she said. She started running and I was watching her butt moving back and forth, I thought she told me to look at it. The guy next to me said "Man, look at her thighs, they're so good!" She came back and we went back inside. We were walking in a hallway, a school probably, and all the doors, lockers, windows above were opened all the way. Inside the lights were turned off, somehow I already knew that this could be a prank towards us or they might be just hiding. A woman walked toward us and told we should come with her. We were in a room with all the administrators and they told us that we weren't in trouble, why they say this is because they thought we were doing the pranks that have been going on lately. The rest of the school got detention lol.

Poison in the Sea
There was chaos. I was in a sea with some friends and some green stuff got into the water. It started to spread, slowly. I saw one of my friends run away but I didn't. I tried but I was still in the water.
