If he'd let go the branch and Disappear in the deep pool, The whole world would shine With dazzling pureness. Prologue Dabor was a water world of extreme weather. Tornados frequently ravaged the land turning into waterspouts over the oceans and lakes. Gravity was not fixed in Dabor. Sometimes it disappeared altogether and people could perform incredible acrobatic feats or even fly. Verging on a police state and it was difficult not to bump into the security forces at every turn. Thankfully however, they were usually friendly. Some might have said this big brother presence was a good thing for disputes often broke out between the myriad people of Dabor. Giant poisonous spiders and even werewolves were also rumoured to inhabit the land and you had to keep your wits about you. Semja was a monkey. And a very cunning monkey at that. But he was also lame. No not that kind of lame. He couldn't walk properly and preferred to swing from the treetops. Sadly there weren't many trees in Dabor and he had to rely on his horse, Gnul, to carry him around the vast realms. Gnul did a great job at this but he was as blind as a bat and Semja never knew exactly where they might end up. Fate would always decide their next destination, whether heaven or hell. Of course, this made it hard to do everyday things like go to the shops. Bananas were very rare in Dabor and this was a constant source of frustration for Semja as he led an exciting double life. For when Semja ate a banana an amazing transformation occurred. He was able to fly and had supermonkey strength...
